Sorry, I made it sound as if there's no YUP changes forwarded at all. There are some things that are not forwarded though, but maybe those were recent additions?
This mod is supposed to bring New Vegas closer to the original games, Fallout 1 and 2 didnt have combat music so idk i feel like adding combat music kind ruins the point of this mod.
However if you want to re-add the music just go into the files of the mod, click on 'nvse' then 'plugins' then 'tweaks' then 'inis' then set bDisableCombatMusic = 1 to bDisableCombatMusic = 0.
Fair enough, but still, also I tried doing that and still I'm having issues getting combat music to show up with this mod on. I'll try playing some with it that setting off for now though and let you know. I don't think it is *anything* else though besides this mod as when I uninstall it, combat music plays as normal.
Edit: Yeah been running through it with that setting set to zero, nothing. I don't get any combat songs or anything unless I remove this mods .esp altogether.
I follow I follow. Is there anyway by just going through fnvedit through the esp that I could reenable them? If not, understandable and thank you for responding to this by the way.
Great mod so far, although I'm not using any music mods at the moment and yet when i level up theres no subtle track at all, It's just silence... Mod description does mention the original being too much and replacing it, Is it just me?
Yes, Novac. "What Remains" from F3. It serves as such a great background as you speak to Manny or Boone. This s#*! hits different after you finish Boone's quest. Novac was once just a small stopover point for travelers looking for a restroom, a motel, or a coolant refill on the way to REPCONN. After the war, what remained of the vacant motel and surrounding area was resettled and Novac was founded, taking its name from what remained of the sign by the entrance. I think it fits perfectly, especially at night. Myself and many others use the motel room as a player home (even without mods since there's a bed, safe storage, reloading bench, workbench, and campfire), which contributes to how memorable it is. What don't you like about it?
There are conflicts in Cell records. ATMOS seems to be using it's own Acoustic Space, while Hymn uses vanilla. So I would assume ATMOS should be loaded after Hymn. Here's an example screenshot
I'm a little surprised that Radiation Storm only gets used once, and at the El Dorado Substation of all places. It's such a wonderfully creepy and desolate soundtrack, so it seems a shame to not use it anywhere else.
Absolutely fantastic mod again from Wombat. Can't wait for Shadows of the New West to complete the classic feel.
However, is there a way to restore the death sound effect? I'm using a classic "Your life ends in the wasteland" line, but this mod seems to disable the death sound effect completely.
I don't know if it was intentional, but the atmosphere added to Red Rock Canyon really breathed life into the Khans. I usually walk in there ready to scoff at their plight, but these tunes were quite the pacification field.
does this mod change anything else than the music? im adjusting my load order and it appears that this mod is also changing stuff like lighting, something called "xcim - Image space", etc
