    • Fixed: All Bear Traps now use the correct script (Some previously used the Pressure Plate script)
    • Fixed: "Low Skill" Messages are no longer pop-ups.

    Version 1.2.0 - 02/08/2024

    • NEW: "Traps Tweaks" version available on install. This brings parity in the Skill Checks and Rewards with the mod Traps Tweaks by Sweet6Shooter
      • The main difference between the 2 now is that "Trap Tweaks" fires the Combat Shotgun from TTW 4 times always. "Disarm The Trap" only does this if you accidentally trigger the trap since I don't override that part of the script. (Been a feature since v1.0 though)
      • You can still re-arm the traps.
    • General optimizations to all versions (Uses an event to reward XP instead of chucking a ref to a function around)

    UPD: one moment though, as I know it's better to declare vars inline in ESPless because they can eventually go wrong, if declared on top and not initialized. So maybe it's better to move this inside event and direct initialize them?

      Interesting.  I had not heard of that limitation before, but that may explain some of the issues I had during testing of a different mod I'm working on. 

      I've yet to have any issues with this one after several reloads of the game, but I'll add initialization to the vars (or make them inline, not sure yet) to hopefully mitigate any potential issues.  Thanks for looking out, and glad you enjoy the mod!

    I'm guessing this is incompatible with Sweet6Shooters' Trap Tweaks? It also tweaks the skills used for traps?

      Correct. This will override that mod as these scripts are always called first. 

      For a similar set of features though, I would recommend the "Alternative" version (available during install).

    Woah, the alternative part of this mod is wild. I've always wanted something that makes better use of other skills to give them more use.

      Agreed.  Having no variety in the skill checks for traps is something that has bugged me for a while.
