Description This mod was made for the Wasteland Survival Guide The difficulty settings in Bethesda games (yes I know NV was made by Obsidian, it changes nothing) always bothered me. They think that the only way to make a game more difficult is to make every enemy a bullet sponge at higher difficulties. I chose to remove that, making them more consistent, and more demanding of actual good gameplay to avoid too much damage. Easier settings are still there for people who might struggle with Normal, Hard or Very Hard. The changes are as follows:
Very Easy: player deals 2x damage, enemies deal 0.5x damage
Easy: player deals 1.5x damage, enemies deal 0.75x damage
Normal: player and enemy deal 1x damage equally
Hard: player deals 1x damage, enemies deal 1.5x damage
Very Hard: player deals 1x damage, enemies deal 2x damage
Your damage is no longer reduced at higher difficulties, meaning it prevents difficulty unintentionally affecting economy too by not requiring spending more ammo/durability for a single enemy.
