Could you create a standalone version? Or would you give me permission to do it?

Unfortunately, my knowledge of modding is terrible, otherwise I would've. I personally like the idea of X-01 being the pre-war prototype to APA and would've liked to have the Enclave soldiers be able to possibly use both sets as well TTW-wise. My limited knowledge limits me to replacer only. If you want to create a standalone, go ahead. How you make it and what you do is up to you. You could always either find a way to get it to me so I could upload it here (and give credit of course) or if you prefer you can upload it to your profile (and obviously give credit to those who deserve it).

I've seen people start but have yet to see anyone finish or release it. I'm not enough of an experienced modder to do it myself, otherwise I would have.

There is a backport for this in NH Arms discord

PS: Personally TOTNW 2.0 base advanced power armor looks superior due to animations and overall proportions to the backport, so I'd go with that.

I wasn't aware of that, so thank you for pointing it out.

can you make the Gannon family  tesla armor glow blueish green in the eyes and lights like the 2018 mod?

Well, the version of the mod this is intended for use with is the compatibility version, which has the Gannon Family Tesla Armor use the standard Tesla Armor models/textures, rather than separate. I could try to look within the files to see what all I would need to change in order to make that happen, but it'd involve me having to install the standard version for a short period of time (which is possible, I guess) in order to test. Theoretically I could do it, but no guarantee. Will be a little while before I can take a stab at it.

Apologies it took so long, but the short answer is no, I will not be doing this. From the looks of it, the special coloring uses the same model, but changes the texture rather than having a separate model and texture altogether. This means that in order for me to do that, I would have to make a special esp/esl for it, which is beyond my modding capabilities. Apologies it took so long to get an answer that ended up being a no.

closest thing to get something similar to this mod Classic Advanced Power Armor at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com). Thank you for this.

I don't know if this is a mod conflict on my part but the shade of black between the torso/limbs and helmet/shoulders are quite off, most noticeable in the day light.

I doubt it's a conflict, unless you have a mod that also replaces the textures. I only included the diffuse (actual colors) of the textures, no normal maps, so there is probably a change in quality of those. I'm no pro-texturer so I do not know if I could ever actually make normals that will match. I could always try, but I make no promises.

It also doesn't help that the F4 parts have a metallic map, and I don't believe that the parts from NV/TOTNW do.

So, after some testing, it's pointing towards the metallic map. This means I can either try to remove it from the F4 parts or add it to the NV/TOTNW parts. I have pretty much 0 clue how to do either, except an idea on how to remove the metallic maps from the F4 parts, which is probably not the preferred answer. So, I probably won't be fixing this anytime soon. I may try, but I honestly doubt that it'll work out, sorry.

Update: I'd look around and make sure you don't have anything that replaces the textures, or make sure you have archive invalidation enabled (although chances are there'd be more issues if it wasn't). They look fine in my game, and I see them looking fine in the one person who posted a couple images, so it's either a texture on your end or is more noticeable with different graphics mods or something. I'm only thinking it's due to the metallic map thing, but then I realize that it looks mostly fine even with those issues. I don't use really much of anything graphics related because I play on what can only be referred to as a baked potato.

Does this replace the static ones we can find in Remnant's Bunker?

PD.: Thank you for making this gorgeous thing!

No, it doesn't. With my limited knowledge, I have been unsuccessful in changing that. I'd say "maybe someday," but I honestly doubt that it'll happen.

Tbh, it would be nice if someone who knew how to would make a mod that replaces them with sort of mannequin-type things that would automatically wear the armor, so you wouldn't have to have a separate static mesh for them.

After doing some digging, the Advanced Power Armor displays looks to be clutter meshes. All Drag did to replace them is set up a basic replacer mesh to override the bsa archive, and the file pathing is the following.

      data/meshes/clutter/apadisplay/apadisplay.nif

I'm assuming that if you wanted to create a replacer for that mesh, all you'd have to do is create a posed armor model.

I know what I'd have to do to make it happen (notices I said I was unsuccessful in changing it), but I do not have all of the skill required for it. Maybe someday, but not anytime soon.

Okay, if you want to know how far I've actually gotten: I have the nif made, but it doesn't work in-game. I plug n' play, and whenever I try entering the bunker, I crash. So, something is wrong within the nif itself, and I have 0 clue what it is or how to fix it. I've tried multiple things to no avail.

Update! I've figured it out! What I ended up doing was pulling the apadisplay from the 2018 version of the F4 PA mod, then copying over the parts I needed from the armor (and positioning them properly). Nice and simple, thanks to that version of the mod.

This is going to sound like an odd request, but this one should be relatively easy for you. Is there anyway you can add this decal https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/72422 to the FO4 T51b and equip it on the BoS? It sucks that there has to be a choice between PAVE and this gem you've made for the full classic experience.

I...actually sorta did that for my own personal use, maybe I'll post it on its own mod page sometime then. Only differences are instead of it being large, on both shoulders, and on the top, it's smaller, only on the right pauldron, and located on the front like it was in the original Fallout. Also added the small arrow on the helmet. No guarantee when I'd post it, but sometime soon.

Ou may you made T6M version remnant armor, but without the ugly Shoulder armor and Fan cooling? If you want of course. Or tell me who could do it, or how I can do it?

Making that will probably be better for someone else to do, but I couldn't tell you who. This is something you'll have to figure out for yourself. It already exceeds my knowledge, and I'm not going to try to learn for something that I don't/won't use. Sorry.

Thanks for the answer, I'm already halfway to implementation, I was able to throw NIF into 3D Max and edit it, but I can't export it correctly and throw it into the game already. In any case, it's nice to share!
  10. It literally looks like Fallout 2's power armor but better and I loved it more than the titans of the new west Remnants power armor
