If you want to be able to see lights from farther away, e.g. see the Vault 21 lights from The Strip entrance you can add the following line under [Display] in your falloutcustom.ini fLightLODRange=50000.0
Weirdly...the sign at the salloon no longer emmits light onto the ground. It is now better colored lighting...but the emittance into the environment seems lower now.
A very nice and atmospheric mod, but unfortunately, when used together with The Great Mojave Interior Overhaul and Nova Arizona - A Legion Lands Expansion, it causes problems with lighting. Maybe there are some recommendations to solve this? Do I need to make a patch by reducing the brightness of these objects?
For some reason my game looks nothing like the screenshots. This is what it looks like for me. No glowing neon signs whatsoever. Everything is dark. Am I doing something wrong?
Does this mod add lights to the top restored neon light of the Tops (pun intended) from mod The Tops Casino - E3 Exterior Restored? Sorry I thought you're the author of the said mod as well my bad.
This mod doesn't seem to work for me. I'm also usin general Lighting Overhaul but they recommend this mod to go with it so they should be compatible? Moving this one to come after GLO doesn't fix it either. My Primm lights look the same with this mod turned on or off. Here is comparison of my game vs yours. Mine is one with character in it. I've tried with no GLO mod on as well just in case.
You mean the "lucky casino" wooden/metal sign? Maybe. It could be one of those situations where the mod becomes part of the save file so stuff looks the same with and without the .esp activated? I don't know if this mod works that way though. The mod author can say if that's the case maybe or someone else who has made mods for this game and gets how it works. EDIT: I see you are the mod author! Is that the case?
Maybe the reason my game doesn't look like his is just down to not having the enhanced bloom and desert skies mods?
Here it is with Desert Natural Weathers I think it's a big improvement! :) I can't see the New Vegas skyline when I face that way from this location like in your screenshot though. I've put this in falloutcustom.ini like your mod says to:
[Display] fLightLODRange=50000.0
Are you using other mods that extend view distance past the game's max limits?
Is there a way to lower the light emittance for the LightBright patch? The default value makes it so I can't read any of the signs/the neon glow is overpowering. It's especially bad with the white glow. Like tbh it would be better if there wasn't *any* glow added to the white parts of the signs, but I'd settle for just being able to turn it down.
