Nuclear bombs appear across the desert at various bomb craters. Iconic C-23 atomic bombs found in several bomb craters remain devastating remnants of nuclear warfare. These bombs are no longer valuable, only used for salvaging various junk components.

DETAILS
I was debating on releasing this mod due to conflicts and inaccuracies of Fallout lore and real-world information on nuclear weapons as well. This mod does not really make any sense for lore or immersion, it is just a cool post-apocalyptic aesthetic thing. The reality is the detonated atomic bombs would have probably vaporized or at least mostly been destroyed on impact. Even if they were considered undetonated or disarmed, there would likely not be as much destruction and scorched terrain at the impact sites without explosions. However, impact sites with intact nukes are still irradiated, and the shell of the bomb is apparently likely to be intact if not destroyed so, who knows. I'm not really sure how any of it works, but bombs sticking out of craters looks really cool.
FEATURES
Familiar and iconic C-23 atomic bombs can be found in bomb craters serving as reminders of nuclear warfare in the Mojave. Encounter several nuclear bombs occupying familiar bomb crater impact sites. Each bomb crater where a nuclear bomb was detonated is typically already irradiated. Detonated nuclear bombs have already been destroyed after impact and no longer have any use besides being salvaged for crafting or trading with vendors. Additionally, these large bombs found in some of these craters serve as memorable landmarks, making it easier to memorize locations during adventures. A nuclear bomb is located at the end of the Highway 95 northwest roadblock near Brooks Tumbleweed Ranch (More Nuclear Bomb Craters). An atomic bomb impact crater is now located at The One (Nuclear The One Crater).
INSTALLATION
Choose only one version to install. For manual installation, extract the file to your game’s data folder. For a mod manager installation, install the file with your preferred mod manager.
COMPATIBILITY
This mod makes changes to atomic impact craters in the world. Mods that modify atomic impact craters will conflict.
KNOWN ISSUES
This mod currently has no known issues or major bugs. Submitting a bug report or leaving a comment will help me fix things faster if the mod is not working as intended.
RECOMMENDED
This mod is recommended to be used with the texture included in my texture mod HD Miscellaneous War Objects. Users of Nuclear Bomb Craters may enjoy my other apocalyptic mods Radioactive Muck and Post Nuclear Weathers.

PLANNED FEATURES
A version of the nuclear bomb model rusted, broken, and partially destroyed into debris is planned. Disarmed, undetonated nuclear bombs can be encountered in other remaining craters (in addition to the large craters already modified by this mod) around the Mojave in a future update. These undetonated bombs will function like they do in Fallout 76, requiring the player to cut the correct wires.
