Re-works Real Recoil's calculations to use weapon damage rather than ammo type, meaning patch-less compatibility with all mods. Also comes with minor optimizations and configurability. Requires the original mod.

Description:
Real Recoil has always been the best feeling recoil mod to me, but was slightly held back by the fact that it needed INI tweaking for any mod that added new ammo types. The INI system also had a few bugs like giving weapons downward recoil if set to a value < 1 (which some ammos had by default). This mod changes the recoil calculations to use a configurable amount based on weapon damage (among the other default factors like weight and strength), meaning it works with any modded weapon/ammo type without any hassle.

Also fixes the "broken items can't be equipped" message upon loading the game with this mod enabled since it was annoying.

For permission reasons, this mod requires the original mod.

Q: Any reason to use this over Immersive Recoil or Not Viewmodel Recoil?
