Amazing, I'm with you that the original mod felt the best for recoil, mainly due to the fact that it doesn't move your camera back down and mess with the players mouse input after shooting like other mods; it's nice to compensate for your own recoil and adds an extra skill to master in the game. That being said I would always have to make my own ini tweaks for each ammo value and add new lines for added ammo types, so this mod is a huge plus for me especially since recoil has some sort of game balance being tied to damage now.
right, i just got pew pew and the recoil makes the camera get stuck looking up for 2 seconds with how strong the recoil is edit: posted a tweak of this mod with a cap to the recoil to fix this issue https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/86406
Is there any way to exclude weapons? For example the M.I.R.V.? I assume any mod that restores it, like this one will have the same problem due to the damage being so high. When you fire the weapon your character does a 180, as if they can't bear to watch the forthcoming destruction.
Aside from giving the token health and adjusting the ini, is there anything else that needs to be done to bug-fix the original mod? This is a cool solution, but I like being able to adjust by caliber.
Such a small change, but it made the mod that much better. Now even the weird-ass unnamed never-released ammo types i cooked up while half-asleep will have recoil without hassle.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS A good alternative to immersive recoil. I felt like the game was great with immersive but just not quite there. This one is excellent. Good job!
