Changelogs
Features
  • Allows you to add a rangefinder to any scoped weapon
  • Supports vanilla optics as well as B42 Optics
  • Allows you to cycle through color options with a single key press
  • Supports per weapon customization of size and placement
  • 2 different number textures to choose from

Usage
Only a few weapons will have the rangefinder enabled by default, but it can be added to any scoped weapon with a single key press, and it will always be active on the weapon from then on (you can delete the associated ini file to remove it if you wish). While the Rangefinder is visible, the up and down arrows on the keyboard can be used to adjust its position on screen and the left arrow to cycle through the different sizes. The size and position will be saved per weapon to allow for different scope sizes that could result from using B42 Optics.

If you are using B42 Optics, and you want to adjust the scope of your current weapon and the Rangefinder has been added to it, you can use the same hotkey that adds the Rangefinder to temporarily disable it to make your scope adjustment. The Rangefinder will then return the next time you use the scope on that weapon.

The Rangefinder will only show up if the weapon has a scope equipped, for example: if you add the Rangefinder to the hunting rifle while you have its scope mod equipped but then you remove the scope, the Rangefinder will not be visible when you aim with the hunting rifle until you re-attach the scope.

Default hotkeys
  • Add/hide the rangefinder: =
  • Adjust height: up and down arrows
  • Toggle background: right arrow
  • Cycle color: [

The hotkeys are set in "Config\Rangefinder\Settings.ini" and can be customized from there.
