Fixed dialogue conditions for Siri. She will now keep all her vanilla topics until she's freed.
Gave Siri a Follower's coat after she escapes, added her to the proper Followers factions.
Generated missing lip file for Siri's post-escape dialogue.
Made the plugin an esm cuz I'm based like that
Exported facegen cuz I'm based like that
Version 1.12
Fixed Melody's script.
Disabled Fallout Behavior for the escape packages.
Gave one of the restored slaves proper slave rags.
Version 1.11
Raised the priority of the quest.
Version 1.10
Redid most of the voice lines. They should all sound a lot more natural now. Still, not perfect as getting the AI to convey the appropriate weariness with these voices in particular is hard.
Even more script fixes. This should be the last update for a while.
Version 1.9
More script fixes.
Version 1.8
Fixed some scripts that accidentally added Siri's escape package to the generic slaves.
Version 1.7
Made Siri to the Old Mormon Fort which I forgot to do in 1.6.
Version 1.6
Made Ranger Stella move to Aerotech Office Park if at least one slave has managed to escape (Andrews is written off as dead no matter what).
Added post-escape dialogue to all NPCs.
Version 1.5
Did the same as 1.4 for the new greetings.
Version 1.4
Redid the dialogue conditions to only apply to the vanilla Fort NPCs.
Version 1.3
Changed the escaped slaves to move to the Aerotech Office Park.
Version 1.2
Added Melody functionality (you have to clear the Fort first).
Removed WAVs.
Version 1.1
Added the missing LIP files (d'oh).
Version 1.0
Initial release.
This is a voiced version of Free the Slaves remade from the ground up. You can use a few different skill checks to remove their collars. If you pass a speech check you can fight your way out together, otherwise you have to kill all the named NPCs at the Fort first. If they manage to escape then they can be found at Aerotech Office Park. Siri will go to the Old Mormon Fort and continue her education in medicine. Ranger Stella will escape to Aerotech if at least one slave also manages to escape. Melody can only be freed if the named Legion NPCs in the Fort are dead. Finally, the two Legionnaire boys will be disabled if those same conditions are met.
Because of the weird way in which the Fort's gates are set up, this uses a somewhat hacky method to allow Siri to move through it. I also had to unlink all of the slaves from the Fort's NPC culling system in order to have them processed when you move between zones. AFAIK there is no way around this.
It should be compatible with everything. Any mod that adds more slaves (other than the few that were disabled in vanilla, which have also been restored in this mod) will not properly integrate with this however because of the way the scripts work.
If you're wondering about the collars, yes they do all have them but they just won't show with the hoods on. Game limitation. That wasn't in vanilla but I thought it made things more interesting.
Support: I can help you most effectively on my Discord. "But I hate when modders want me to join their Discord!" - Yeah, tough luck. I hate trying to give support on a site where the comment and notification systems barely even function. It's almost like having a centralized communications channel is useful.
Permissions: As always, I grant everyone permission to do whatever they want with my files in terms of merges, patches, translations, fixes, modpacks, etc.
