Why wont the author ever write in the description the stats of the guns i dont wanna download something if i dont know if its overpowered and not fitting to vanilla
amazing mod as always, but have you considered doing a Remington 700 style weapon mod? I know there's already one and the Winchester model 70. But they don't have your touch with your amazing animations.
Love it, really high quality work! Weird to think the FAL is canon in the Fallout games alongside laser rifles and power armor...lol
One thing I will mention is the weapon spread feels a bit high. Close to medium range it's not super noticeable, but at any kind of distance it really struggles to make hits. Just thought it was worth mentioning. At first I thought I wouldn't like the full auto but it's grown on me, it's slow enough that it's easy to let off single shots and it's pretty brutal at close range.
Thanks. One weapon mod slot is still free. I could add one that decreases spread. I personally like my automatic weapons to have just high enough spread to force me to switch weapons for long range shots.
How about a semi-automatic fire control group? Convert the weapon to single-fire, decrease spread and whatnot? Different variants of the FAL had either semi-auto or select-fire trigger groups, so it would make sense in context of the weapon's history. Just a suggestion.
A semi-auto unique variant and the decreased spread mod for the automatic seems like a good solution to me.
Thinking of giving the unique the scope by default, but modifying it to be a red dot, so I can utilize a Stewies Tweaks alternate sighting node hotkey feature to swap between the dot and the iron sights. Going to keep the regular longer range scope as a weapon mod, of course.
