it still won't take irradiated water for some reason
edit: okay, it does purify irradiated water, but you have to prime it with dirty water. basically, I put in 19 irradiated water and it wouldn't start the purifying process, but I added 1 dirty water and it purified all 20 bottles.
I have the same issue, using the Begin Again TTW Modlist. I was able to use it for free, once that period expired it tells me to pay him when i use it and he has no new dialogue.
EDIT: It works when Walter is outside the plant for some reason. Endorsed!
"No new water types have been added (except one optional), so the type of bottled water you get from a source will be determined from the radiation level of the water. The three possible water types are: Purified Water (see Unclean Water section below), Dirty Water, or Irradiated Water."
Damn, shows what I know. Either way, thanks for the consideration. I just use a mod that adds realistic radiation to the water almost everywhere, so more than not, all the water I find is just irradiated water.
Hi! I know this is an old comment thread - but, just so you're aware, the closest pool of water to the Bottling Station is the pool where the bomb sits. It gives Irradiated Water. This means that for me, and I'm assuming at least a few others, their first "trying out" of the mod fails. It would be nice to be able to purify the closest available water source.
Hi. What kind of bottle does it take? Also is it automatic? I put in an empty nuka-cola bottle and waited long time but nothing happened. Edit: Oh man, I think it's dirty water as shown in picture. Hehe. It purifies, not fills and purifies. Edit: Yes it takes dirty water. It works. Thanks!
Is it possible to use on a save made *after* completing the unmarked pipe leak quest? Just seeing this mod now, and I'm about 5 hours past clearing that event. info appreciated. Thanks either way.

It does, but I appreciate the sentiment not to.

Still making my modlist for TTW but, gotta ask, can I modify the price by using xEdit? I'd like to make it more expensive.
