The BURN BLEED patch makes the fallout 3 part of TTW very difficult and tedious. For a while I just removed the plasma and laser damage from the script that adds them to BURN effects but I wasn't quite happy with that. I ended up making some edits to the scripts in BURN to give energy weapons the same effect but using energy resistance.

Adds some of the BLEED effects to BURN but uses energy resistance instead of fire resistance.

I've been playing through TTW with BLEED and BURN using this patch. The issue is, it makes facing the hordes of enclave using lasers and weapons pretty tedious. I made some changes to the scripts in BURN to use energy resistance instead of fire resistance for plasma damage and proton damage. I also removed the BURN effect from lasers because I felt it made less sense, I may end up coming back and making them use a lower resistance value in future though.

Overall this mod:
  • Adds BLEED fire damage to BURN 
  • Gives plasma/proton weapons BURN's effects but using energy resist.
  • Having 25 or more energy resist is enough to resist the effect (this may change, I picked it because the tesla armor mk2 should protect from energy weapons I feel and I wanted to leave room to give lasers the same effect with lower resistance in future.)
  • Doesn't add lasers to BURN (you can add these yourself by adding "ListAddForm BRNFireEffectsPlasmaList BLEEDFireDamage" to the script in the nvse folder)


Load this after BURN and BLEED
