I like a lot of what this mod does, but halving the survival needs is really annoying to me, it makes me want to uninstall it cuz I am overflowing with food and water and have not had and issues with it, having issues with food and water is why I play this mod idk it feels too unbalanced, especially when I can not for the life of me find a mod that increases survival needs
Honestly, I do like the look at some of what this mod does, but putting next to something like Understone or the Expansion Project, it... Leaves some things to be desired. Making Grunt just *good* feels weird, as does changing barter when other mods do give it some use.
Honestly, I'd love a version of this, or an optional file that just added the perks without the other changes. It would leave Barter as this "wierd" skill that trades out points that could have gone to better survival and combat skills to weird, but nice comforts, ie: Pack Rat, better trades, Comfortable Boots, PA training at high levels, etc.
I second this, I personally love all of the perk changes that craftmonkeys mod changes in Dust but i wish there was an optional file for the Inventions skill to not to overwrite the Barter skill because there are still technically people you can trade with in Dust.
Hey guys, it's almost Christmas and I'm going to be home alone for 10 days or so. Time to replay Dust and to see what I wanted to improve. I'll look into these barter suggestions.
Curious but am I missing something for the skill and perk icons? I installed the game through my mod manager (MO2) and I'm receiving a "File Not Found" for the icons
I found that the mod is installed like this DATA>Textures>AH>(perk and skill icons) and with the esp file outside of DATA folder. I just move the Texture folder outside of the DATA folder next to esp file and that fixed it. You can also put the esp file inside the DATA folder so MO2 will correct the file location.
I intentionally removed: -CaravanPack.esm -ClassicPack.esm -MercenaryPack.esm -TribalPack.esm I dont want any loot at the start, but this mod requires the Courier's Stash DLC, is there any other way to fix this, or should I have them installed again?
Download the Pre-Order Fixer optional file from the DUST mod page, place it below DustSurvivalSimulator.esp and then you'll no longer get them upon spawn but instead the items will be placed on unique NPCs across the wasteland.
You should never disable any of the main .esms as many mods require them as they use assets from them. Only disable them if you're 100% sure you know it wont break anything.
First playthrough of DUST - running into an issue with the 'Comfortable Boots' perk just not working at all. Are there restrictions? ...or is it a bug?
