Just slapped this into vortex and works great. I fucking love this feature man idk why cause I haven't even played 76 yet.

Suggestion, add commas? Some of us are a little overboard and have over 100k. After a certain point simple brains like me don't even register the number, like your score on an arcade game.

Man deffo hits up the casinos on 10 luck build :D I have the same problem, it said 150000 on a win the other day (Thanks to higher betting limits and better pay-outs) and I could barely even fathom the number on my screen lol

instructions not clear, burnt my dick in the toaster

just kidding, but i've followed the installation of all the dependency mods and, when Hud Caps is loaded, when starting a new game, the game will get stuck on a black screen and the game won't start. won't crash either.

Check again your installation, could be related to UIO.

Could anyone help explain the settings process? Added all the values with what I thought were the right lines to the HUDC .ini but no good.

Have you ever considered reading the description?

I read it multiple times and was not successful, that is why I am here asking for some help. I entered all of those lines in the .ini with values and did not have success. Instead of being pushed away, I would like a little assistance in getting this to work. I don't think that's asking a lot

Read again, nowhere does it say to write stuff in the INI file. The INI file is created on game start, the rest are console commands you can use in the game's console.

I made a small edit for myself in FNVEdit, so that the sound is not duplicated when picking up the caps when bHUDCapsPlaySound=1.

This doesn't cover Sunset Sarsaparilla caps and doing that will play a default pick up sound instead, if you want to have no sound when picking up (and dropping) caps what you can do is create a new sound form and set its filepath to a blank sound file (or if there's already a blank sound in the Vanilla game you can use that instead), then change the caps pick up sound (and drop) to that one.

And to be clear the sound is not duplicated, you just happen to pick up caps when the animation start (which can happen when picking up caps one by one like those in Doc Mitchell's house) so what you hear is the pickup sound and the animation sound. I added a IsSoundPlaying check to prevent the animation sound from playing if the pick up/drop one is, try it and tell me if it's better.

Yes, I must have misspoken, I apologize. I meant playing the sound twice, not overlaying one sound on top of another. There is no bug in that, just a personal preference.
If don't use my edit, your fix did help with the case you described of the caps lifting one by one, it really got better. :)

You mean the sound when you get the cap for drinking Sunset Sarsaparilla? It seems to be different from the sound of picking up the caps.
Also, I didn't want to remove the lifting sound completely, just make it standard, like you said. But I really hadn't thought about the dropping sound, thanks, I'll add this now.

Try reinstalling the mod and check HUD Caps.ini (which should be in your overwrite folder if you use MO2).

idk need more info. Make sure you got all requirements up to date (last update requires xNVSE 6.2.8), while in game open the console see if any error has been printed, if you play on a different resolution, try changing the X/Y values maybe the counter is off screen, see the description to configure the mod directly in game.

You were right, seems that my x/y value were way off like -999 for some reason but its all fix thank you.
