Update 2.2 HOTFIX Full rewrite of the mod. Expect new bugs. Data framework redone. Now mod takes one ini files per one gun. No more "one file for everything". Which should greatly simplify configs management. Compatible with legacy ini files, but new edits will be saved as brand new files. Added all new, easy to follow, menu. Preliminary additions for optics mod. Hotfix for values not being applied on gameload Please, make sure you've uninstalled previous version. This one uses new scriptrunner type, and file name has changed (from gl_ISControl to ln_ISControl), and simple "install on top" will not work. But current version will warn you if you have old one installed.

for some reason the menu will not open in version 2.3, however it works perfectly fine with 1.4. I'm having the same issue with the b42 optics mod the menu just wont open for me. ive tried uninstalling all the depencies along with the mod and reinstalling, ive tried getting rid of mods that might have control conflicts like this sprint mod. These mods are sick as f*#@ and i reeeeaally want to play with them.
so if a mod gives in ironsights, but this mod doesn't work with it, maybe it doesn't give it ironsights? Go check with the other guy who made that mod then.
In vanilla fnv there is an ironsight animation even though it is not a "true ironsight" I expected something more like the laser pistol. That animation plus the crosshair placement is so close it looks like it could be the real thing but it's not.
This mod is a must have but it does not work with every weapons. 9/10 it works but 1/10 it does not work, the 1/10 refuses to be changed, when I hold aim and press right mouse button, it does nothing while for the 9/10 it works. Some weapons from random mods and also some from Fallout 3 (TTW), some weapons from TTW are very badly aligned. How can we make it work with literally everything? If it doesn't work for a single weapon, how can we make it work for it?

I have tried many weapons so far, so I can't remember them all but once I got more, I'll tell you, I have read the comments and someone was talking about true iron sight. Do some weapons do not have true iron sight at all? Maybe this would be the cause, how can one activate true iron sight for a weapon using fnvedit?
yeah, some weapons just don't have ironsights bone (for example, vanilla laser pistol), and that's either a mistake by the developers or intended like that. With such weapons - ISControl doesn't work, it literally can't. If there's no ironsights bone - there's nothing to control.
Hi so Ive discovered for me, I cant move the scopes closer or farther away from the screen using mousewheel? I use B42 optics as well and I think thats the issue with it. Has anyone else mentioned a similar issue? Example, When I use the hunting revolver, when I fire the scope clips through the screen.

i've legitimately written off ISControl for like two years thinking all of your scriptrunner stuff was hot garbage that didn't work because i didn't know this until just now lmao
would it be possible for me to make this work on a weapon that doesnt technically use iron sights? it doesnt work on the ttw firelance and im guessing it has something to do with the fact the crosshair doesn't disappear, similar to the minigun and missile launcher, but it still tries to ADS in a really jank ass way
EDIT: nevermind, i had something overwriting the firelance, the default one does work.
No matter what I do, I can't get ISControl to save adjustments. Adjusting a weapon works beautifully, but when I try to save an adjustment, the mod doesn't give any kind of message about saving after I've pressed enter, and the adjustments stop working soon after. I have v2.3 with a clean install using MO2, all requirements have been installed (I don't have HipControl).
It's impossible to use the scroll wheel with any of your position adjustment mods (iscontrol, b42 optics, hipcontrol) while the lStewieAl's tweak "Mousewheel Scrolls Weapon Hotkeys" (bMousewheelScrollsWeaponHotkeys) is enabled. I'd like to keep both. any chance you could deal with this?

Don't forget, to adjust the gun in the game - press Right Shift while aiming.
