The Powder Gangers. What does one think of when you think of the Powder Gangers? Comment it.
What do I think, however? I think of a gutted faction with barely any purpose in the game anymore aside from faction rep tutorials. These guys were so poorly done, and everything that was cut out was removed very sloppily. Such as an unused marker where Eddie could've been shoved off of a tower, sit markers in the towers that no one uses, an unused cell block, an unused armory. Hell, there are regular NCR Troopers that are not part of I Fought The Law placed in some of the towers, permanently disabled. I could go on...
Needless to say, as I continue to say, the Powder Gangers are perhaps my most favorite faction of all time - and utterly disrespected by Obsidian. They created such a unique bandit gang, only to say "Sayonara" and go do other stuff.
This mod, as well as every other Powder Ganger mod I've done, seeks to change that.
What this mod does is add in new Powder Ganger types around their territory. The new Powder Gangers, while simple in appearance, should not be underestimated. These boys in stripes act as support for the rest of the Powder Gangers, from Powder Ganger Goons to Powder Ganger Serial Bombers, not a single one will go down easy. Some of them may even give Power Armored characters a run for their money....

The new Powder Gangers are as follows:
Powder Ganger Goons - Tough muscle within the chain gang. Wielding hand-to-hand based weapons, these boys are tough as nails and, should they get close, expect to make a visit to a nearby clinic when all's said and done (No joke, these guys will knock your teeth out. I cannot stress that enough.).
Powder Ganger Bruisers - Powder Gangers wielding bats, golf clubs, sledgehammers, and more. Their jobs lie in enforcer territory, and often tend to distract enemies with their big weapons long enough for their buddies to cause massive damage.
Powder Ganger Serial Bombers - Psychos within the chain gang. Arrested for terrorism around California - from blowing up military bases, government buildings, hospitals, and more, these boys can be expected to always have explosives on them and will not hesitate to blow you to the next continent. However, should you be able to circumvent these dangers, you'll probably find that these guys are nothing more than barking dogs.
I would say that I would update this with more people later, but I think I've added enough new NPCs and NPC types to genuinely make this faction feel more like a faction now.
