1. Description
This mod adds visual effects to drugs and alcohol. It's now fully scripted for compatibility.
A number of differences exist between this mod and the mod it was built on, WitchScroll's Drug Visuals. The visual effects are less drastic; the double-vision effects have been removed or greatly reduced, and coloration has been toned down. This creates a more subtle effect which blends better with the base game. The only visual effects which might be significantly distracting are the high-level inebriation effects (caused by consecutively drinking multiple bottles of alcohol) and the psychedelic effects (cave mushrooms). Since it's unlikely that these effects will be seen as a result of using chems for their performance-enhancing properties, I felt there wasn't much risk of them being over-the-top.
Additionally, I have fixed the scripting on the alcohol effects so that it's possible to sleep or wait the visual effects off. Before, if you became drunk, you would simply have to wait for the effect to end, which could take several minutes. I have also removed changes to withdrawal effects, and expanded the coverage of drugs.

Ensure that you have depth of field enabled -- the psychedelic effects won't look right without it.
Install with a mod manager.

Light Up and Smoke Those Cigarettes, for added immersion.
