Hey Enclave! I probably would not get around to doing this, but I see you have created some mods, which suggest to me you might be able to do this, so if you want to arrange permissions with the others you have my permission to use the palm tree assets to create a patch .
Would this be compatible with Gomorrah Casino Uncut? I know that this just adds/fixes animations, but the amount of changes that GCU makes might be a bit problematic.
I have no experience with that mod, but from reviewing its assets it doesn't have any conflicts with this. so it should be fine :) . if you find anything contrary to that it could be good to say here for others :)
Nice! It has several conflicts with your other mods but it's no problem, I simply let Bouncing Natural Botany(BnB) win over this mod, and this mod win over Vault 22 Animated Foliage (for new users of Vortex and mods in general - read "win over" as "load after", and make such choice when Vortex asks you to decide). I guess that makes most sense, and it works good, haven't bumped into any issues.
Hi! I installed pretty much all of your mods... since some changes the exact same meshes (for example, this mod and Italian Cypress Trees Animated), can I keep just one, right?
Don't wanna be a downer but if a lot of animations are so subtle, that the only way to see them in game is by remaining completely still and fast forwarding, it's just not worth your time. I'd say if you do animate meshes it would be best to take into account that the player character will be constantly moving, therefore only noticing animations that are very pronounced if any at all; not that some of these things should be in the first place. You do good work overall, it's just that some things aren't worth animating like this.
Constantly moving? Not every player runs around with their rear on fire. And it's all about the subtleties one notices when stopping to take in a sight, or approach a tent flap, or hide behind a tree, or whatever. Especially when playing on a bigger screen. So you're saying not all of the rewards from all these animations are always worth all the efforts put into to making them? Maybe but that's subjective and not your effort anyway - and it's not like you're here constructively suggesting other animations to prioritise is it? There are a lot of pointless, bad and/or broken mods on Nexus to complain about and yet you're here bemoaning something simply because its benefits are a tad subtle?? Hey, just don't apply them to your game.
Thank you falloutnewb! love to hear it!! <3 if you want anything else be sure to message me. I like doing these little animation mods and armour stuff :D
No problem! would love to hear what your experience in game with these are. its my first time doing a mod using mesh deformation. so fairly experimental for me. any feedback would be awesome ! appreciate it!
It may take a while before I get to Gomorrah, I am nowhere near to opening the Strip in my saves. XD Do you have a save file inside Gomorrah you could share? I would check for you right away with one.
oh that's fine , I can wait for a reply if you remember to do it. I was a bit pensive about sharing this one due to the new animation type but I conducted some testing and all seemed dandy ! just need someone else to say its all good for them and I can rest happily !
Ashens2014, the mod works perfectly! One question though, are the "bigger" plants (palms) inside Gomorrah not supposed to move? I swear they aren't moving. Also, not all hanging lanterns are supposed to move, right? Like the red ones?
pretty much everything should be moving, that would plausible move. those plants in the pots should be moving. thats good to hear! :D thanks for checking it out for me!
thanks for the video, turns out the asset wasnt even in the final mod. and it was one of the key assets. I had so many issues before mod launch! I knew something was wrong. Just published another file which contains a temporary animation, it might be the final animation, but I am going to have to check my old project backups for the most recent animation.

The lamp I was referring in my previous post seems to be moving now that I paid REAL close attention though.
