About this mod

Traveling merchants now wear diverse clothes and carry a variety of weapons and equipment, scaled to player level.

++Introduction++

I made this mod in response to a simple request on Reddit!

The traveling merchants of the Mojave, like you, are adapting to the gathering storm of the NCR-Legion War. They now wear various civilian wastelander outfits, and in later levels, combat armor; and they carry weapons scaled to player level, ranging from simple single-shot rifles and shotguns to arms recovered from dead Legion commandos and even Brotherhood patrols.

++Specific changes++

This mod consists mostly of three new leveled lists, one each for armor, headwear, and weapons, which replace the fixed inventory of the traveling merchants in the game. They also carry healing powder, chems, and random foods.

Note that this mod does not alter the vendor inventories of the merchants, i.e. the items that they sell. I'm only altering the equipment that they themselves wear!

++Installation++

Since this mod consists of only an .esp plugin, install it with Mod Organizer 2. It should be fine to uninstall or update during play, although you'll have to wait a few days for leveled lists to update. My mod seems to be already compatible with Spice of Life and Tammer's NIF-bashed armor mod, so I imagine that most mods that alter the merchants should work fine, so long as you make a merged patch to resolve any overwritten faces.

++Permissions++

Do what you want, but ask me first!

Some of the equipment the characters are wearing in my thumbnail comes from the Spice of Life mod, but that's the result of those mods
injecting their items into the same vanilla leveled lists that I use. No other mods' content appears in my file!

++Future plans++

Babby's first leveled list mod, so if I messed up something then I'll fix it ASAP. I would also like to write a mod that adds specialized merchants (e.g. traveling doctors) sometime.

++Acknowledgements++

Thanks to Obsidian for an RPG masterpiece, Bethesda (reluctantly) for providing the framework used to create it, and Interplay/Black Isle
for setting the original stage for the series to shine.
