I have finally released an update almost a year later.

I fixed the last remaining issues I was aware of.

    - Quest being marked as completed before finishing dream sequence
    - Mutant Repellent perk not being added.

    Good mod
I don't get why this is cut content
I mean this is pretty good, a mix between Dishonored and the Temple of Trials (Fallout 2)

This mod was an AWESOME foreshadowing to the story in New California and really gave me that OHHHH SNAPP!!!! moment when I met the Father. Unfortunately it crashed right at the door that exits the dream but FORTUNATELY it didn't crash until then. Although I had to start a new save over without this mod I'm SO glad I played it with this mod and was worth that frustration tbh.

It shouldn't cause a crash. It never crashed during my testing. So it's likely an issue with your setup.

first things first , thanks for making this mod , i just started recently modding FNV , and without this mod i wouldnt have had the chance to play the cut content . so big thanks from me.

that said i noticed some things :

"Dream NPCs use outdated Project Brazil designs Fixed in version 1.1"
    - i had a few invisible NPCs , like the one with the Elsdragon voice ... and the burning ones have all been invisible too ...
if the Mutant (that tells me after the Charisma 6 check that he is my Father) is supposed to repressent the Father ... then yeah he uses the wrong design ..

    - anyways the main reason why im here is to ask if this mod is supposed to replace the cut scene when you use the bed ,
because i got pretty confused that the cutscene didnt play at all and the dream just started directly after recreating my character instead of the cutscene...
would it be possible to play the cutscene first and then start the dream sequence ?

    - also .. according to this page https://new-california.fandom.com/wiki/Mutant_Repellent
you should get the Perk Mutant Repellent if you manage to kill the Super Mutant in the dream sequence , can you reimplement that ?
or in case if you have it already implementet ... i didnt get the perk , then im not sure whats wrong.

Thanks for your hard work :)

I don't really care about New California anymore, so I'm probably not going to update this mod again.

I remember this back when I played the alpha version once known as Project Brazil. They devs cut it out originally because they had some different ideas for the story. Having it back in though, I feel like it fits even to the latest version of the mod. When the Star Player wakes up from the explosion caused by the Patriots, he or she starts fighting. If you're playing Path of the Scientist, you'd argue that the character has no history of ever gaining any combat experience. Something you just wouldn't expect from your average nerd, except for Gordon Freeman in Half-Life. So, maybe this dream they have "activates" them and the FEV parasite. After all, the Star Player was created by the Super Mutant Unity into being an unstoppable weapon...until the parasite dies in the endings leading to Fallout: New Vegas. Anyway, I'm sure some of you here have different perspectives. I just felt like sharing.

I've mellowed out on the whole Nexus mod pack thing. Figure I'd re-upload some finished mods that I don't really care about anymore, and get a little bit of DP from them. But new stuff is probably still going to be primarily on Github.
