==Overview==
The Mojave Stock Exchange is a simple mod meant to add something to the background while you play. It adds stocks from various wasteland companies that the player can purchase. The prices of these stocks change daily and are impacted by choices the player makes. It's time to add real gambling to New Vegas.

+War Bonds Issued by the New California Republic
==Market Shifts==
There three things that impact stock prices:
+Daily Random Price Fluctuations
+The Death of NPCs Related to the Share's Company
+The Completion of Quests
Everyday the prices of stock changes at random, either increasing or decreasing the stock by a small amount. Killing Alice McLafferty will obviously drop the value of Crimson Caravan shares. Giving Primm over to the NCR will increase the value of War Bonds. Opening up the road at the Mojave Outpost will increase the value of most stocks. And so and so on.
If you want to check on the market, simply open up your pipboy, and click on the Radio Station "Hub Market News"
==Where to Buy==
Shares can be bought from merchants throughout the wasteland. Some merchants might sell a particularly large amount of one share. For example, Lacey at the Mojave Outpost will sell NCR War Bonds, and Gloria Van Graff will sell shares in the Silver Rush.
You can also find a stockbroker at the 188 Trade Post who sells large numbers of every share. However, his accompanying brokerage fee means it may be more prudent to shop elsewhere.

This mod is more of a proof of concept and a way for me to take break from working on my larger mod Rebuild the Capital. Since this is small mod and something I whipped together during some rainy days, I'm not sure how much more I will work on it, but I wanted to release it to see what people thought.
I'm also sure there could be an interesting lore discussion on whether or not the NCR would have a stock market and if it would even reach the Mojave. Like I said, this mod is more of a proof of concept and just little idea I had.
The mod mainly operates through event handlers so it should be performance friendly and compatible with most mods. You can easily see what the mod edits in xedit if you are curious.
Some mods that might pair nicely with this mod are Currencies of the Mojave and any mod that adds weight to caps.
