About this mod

Blades, clubs, knuckles and other close combat weapons are simple and sturdy but still need regular maintenance. Perk "CQC Maintenance" allows to disassemble them into useful parts to support weapons you believe are better.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
You can get "CQC Maintenance" perk at level 2+ which allows you to disassemble your melee and unarmed weapons for useful parts. At Repair 100, each spare part restore 20% of maximum durability of weapon that can use these spare parts.

  • Bladed weapons give you "Spare Parts: Small Blades" or 'Spare Parts: Large Blade" based on their blade size;
  • Blunt weapons give you "Spare Parts: Weight"
  • Mechanical weapons give you "Spare Parts: Mini-Servos"
  • Short weapons give you "Spare Parts: Handle"
  • Long weapons give you "Spare Parts: Shaft"

Base Game and Story DLCs (DM, HH, OWB and LR) weapons are covered. Some other modifications were added as well:

  • All bladed weapons can be repaired with Whet Stone
  • Dog-Tag Fist can be repaired with NCR dogtags
  • Boxing Tape can be repaired with Duct Tape
  • War Club modifications require "Tribal Knowledge" Perk to create
  • Bear Trap Fist can be created with proper holotape


GRA version adds "Traditional Smith" Perk that allows to create all affected weapons from GRA and increase Melee and Unarmed weapons damage by 10%, War Club and Bear Trap Fist requires this Perk instead of Base Game and Stroy DLCs version.

Q: How to get this Perk?
A: If you want to test this Perk, you can just use console to give your character it. Just type "player.addperk XX000AE5" (where XX is load order of this mod). You can get it as normal Perk during your level up as well.
