This is just my opinion, but I can't help but feel the way you describe these mods is just a little bit insulting to the Frontier developers. I'm talking about the blanket statement regarding "the questionable choices of the developers". There were lots of contributors to that project over a decade and most of them did nothing "questionable" at all. It just isn't necessary to insult them over and over and I feel like they have been through enough already.
Furthermore, the quality and utility of your mods speak for themselves. I have endorsed and am using some of them. If you're trying to call attention to them I don't think it's necessary.
Again, this is just my opinion, feel free to ignore it if you like. I do like what your doing with these mods and I will be watching them develop in any case.
I agree 100%. "questionable choices" is subjective. It's an opinion, not a fact. Personally I dislike the main quest. That however is my OPINION. It has to do with my preferences not their work. Just because something doesn't meet your expectations doesn't make it bad. If there was ONE thing I would prefer changed its the quest foisted on you at lvl 12 by Private Dorkface. Why can't we just go to the tent and sign up when we are ready? Why do I have to have yet another quest in my log. Also I wish there was a way to go there without joining the NCR guys, Bcause if you want to explore other avenues you basically HAVE to become a deserter which is directly against how I RP my character..he simply would not do that.
are you kidding? they support rape and pedophiles, half of their staff were called out for it but they used a single member as a scapegoat, their obsession with child slavery and detailed talking of raping women is f*#@ing digusting
So I downloaded this and it started up great. I pick my stats, my gun, ask some questions and then it begins to load the starting cutscene, and it won't stop loading. So yeah I need some help on this front.
I have a request: Could you make an optional mod for NCR playthroughs where private john can only ask you about signing up for the NCR frontier if you atleast have an accepted reputation status with the NCR and have completed the ring-a-ding-ding quest? I feel like that would better address NCR Exiles sudden interest in the courier because of the actions he's actually done in the Mojave as he's helped out the main NCR.
Nice! One of the most reliable modders on the Nexus.
Do you have any plans/expectations about what's coming from this series in the future that you can share? Because I'm strongly considering releasing some changes of my own to supplement yours, but I don't want to waste time making things that you're already doing.
For now I want to get into reworking NCR campaign or parts of it, mostly related to the order of quests and the order of their availability. That's going to take *a while*. After that it's either other questlines, side content or I'll finally get into the balancing of this all. Considering that I'll get into balancing way way later I'm probably going to jump off of other's work or collaborate at that point.
Good to know. Any plans for music replacers in particular, like for example the BGM for some of the space sequences that sound wildly out of place in Fallout? That was one of the things I had my eye on.
I don't think it's an "issue" so much as a preference thing, but I did encounter certain themes that I thought could've been swapped out for something more in line with Fallout's ambient music, stylistically.
Yeah, I am waiting for when there are enough mods to reach critical mass when it feels like an overhaul. Also some mods might become irrelevant in just a few weeks considering Frontier's getting updated as we speak.
oh this is great. one of my biggest issues with the frontier, vile, is that the current quickstart feels disjointed and strange. like im not really playing. i want to effectively just start the frontier right from the main menu in a seamless way.
An example is the TTW quickstart by RoyBatty. a frontier equivalent of that with more customization options would be godly.

Thanks for making them.
He's right..
