Why would you bundle this with a model replacement? What a stupid idea. Especially for a mod that takes 15 minutes to implement yourself in the Geck. BURN is a much better mod. Anybody can increase some damage numbers and add a perk rank.
It was a stupid idea to leave a seven sentence comment on a mod that you think is a waste of time, thus wasting more time than it would have taken to just hit the back button at the top left corner of the browser. Good job, buddy. Now everyone knows how little you have going on in your jorts.
Would this mod work alongside BURN at all, or would they clash? The visuals and the rebalanced damage are very tempting, but BURN also changes a lot about the burning effect.
Won't the Incinerator and Heavy Incinerator be rendered useless with this mod? With the Flamethrower's increased range and damage, that would basically make it all around better than the Incinerators, especially in terms of damage.
@GalenKnight56 Well, those also benefit from a more powerful Pyromaniac Perk, so they are still indirectly buffed. And they still have more range, specially when combined with Heave, Ho! (that one increases range for all lobed projectiles, not just grenades). I haven't tested one against the other but on paper at least, they should still be pretty decent. Whether they are "useless", I suppose that's up to you.
Wow, I thought Heave Ho was pretty useless, didn't know that it also affects other weapons like the incinerator and grenade launcher. Well I suppose you make a fair point, though I probably will tweak this mod myself to my personal tastes. I am also playing with JSawyer Ultimate.
This is a pretty cool mod and I love how much it enhances my pyro build. My only issue is the range increase seems to be visually bugged, the flamer looks like it still has about 600 units of range (basically pre mod) even though fire decals and enemies being damaged from further away say otherwise. I dont know if you already know about this or if I just need to get into fnvedit and fix it myself, I didnt see anyone else talk about this so im not super sure. Thanks
So, here's the problem. The range of the weapon, that can be increased. But the fire, that's its own model, so just because I increase the range its not going to make the flame bigger. You'd have to increase the size of the mesh, and that's not something I know how to do.
The 2 additional pyromaniac ranks don't work properly, but fortunately it's an easy fix.
In the GECK, you have to create a new "perk entry" when editing the perk for every rank; you can't simply set it to 3 ranks and be done with it. To see what I mean, look at "Toughness" or any other perk with multiple ranks(The first rank of of "Toughness" adds 3 DT, the 2nd rank adds 6 DT - there is a new perk entry in the perk for each rank, because new ranks of perks actually just overwrite the old one.)
With this mod, there are no other entries, meaning each rank does nothing other than nullifying the original base rank of +50%(meaning you actually lose damage if you take rank 2 and 3.) To fix this, simply add a new entry identical to the original 1.50x damage multiplier - one at 2x, the other at 2.5X to get the intended effect this mod is attempting.
Great mod otherwise, especially when combined with the other mods you recommended. I already fixed the error on my end, but you may want to do the same and reupload it. Cheers.

And yes. That is exactly what I did. Thanks.
It's this one, man.
Go to the mod, Pyromania
Remove Item Mod
Remove Weapon
You should now have the original models back
