About this mod

Rebalances the Sprtel-Wood 9700 unique gatling laser to make it more attractive to use versus the upgraded standard gatling laser. The fire rate is reduced (also increasing its critical chance) but the damage of each beam is raised to be double that of the standard gatling laser, the ammo capacity is raised to 120, and the ammo use is raised to 2.

Changelogs
This mod rebalances the Sprtel-Wood 9700 unique gatling laser from Gun Runners' Arsenal. In the unmodded game, its DPS is nearly 100 less than the standard gatling laser after applying the Focus Optics mod, with only 3 extra damage per beam to make up for this disparity. With this mod, the Sprtel-Wood 9700 now does double damage per beam compared to the standard gatling laser. Its fire rate is reduced, which also has the effect of giving it a higher critical chance (this is due to the automatic weapon critical chance formula). Its ammo capacity has been raised from 90 to 120, but in line with its beam doing two times the damage of a standard gatling laser, it also uses 2 ammo per beam.

Its DPS is still lower than the upgraded gatling laser, but it is now much closer - and the greater damage per beam should help give it some consideration even for a player possessing the Focus Optics mod for their gatling laser. This is balanced by its increased ammo consumption.

REQUIREMENTS
Gun Runners' Arsenal is required.

KNOWN ISSUES
None. Please report anything you find in the comments.

CONFLICTS
This mod will conflict with anything that alters the Sprtel-Wood 9700. It incorporates fixes from YUP.

Users with New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) can avoid all direct conflicts by downloading the "NVSE" version under Optional Files. This version does not edit the weapon form directly, and instead relies on scripts.

If you are using one of the "Balanced" versions of my mod, GRA Unique Weapons Relocated, and would like to use both this mod and my other mod, AER14 and Sprtel-Wood 9700 Green Critical Disintegration, don't download anything from this mod or that one. I have included a plugin under the Miscellaneous section of GRA Unique Weapons Relocated that bundles them all together in a compatible manner if you don't have NVSE.

I apologize for this funny business, but unfortunately editing the same weapon in different plugins causes conflicts, and I have to resolve that somehow while still giving the user options. I have done my best to make everything as clear as possible.

RECOMMENDATIONS
I recommend my mod, GRA Unique Weapons Relocated, so that the player may find the Sprtel-Wood 9700 in the world as with most other unique weapons instead of needing to purchase it from a vendor.

OPTIONAL FILES
If you have New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE), just download the NVSE version.

I have included versions that are compatible with GunRunners Arsenal Integration Mod by Lopham and the "Balanced" versions of my mod, GRA Unique Weapons Relocated.

I have also created three versions marked "GCD" for Green Critical Disintegration. These are intended for users without NVSE who wish to use both this mod as well as another mod of mine, AER14 and Sprtel-Wood 9700 Green Critical Disintegration. If you use both mods (and don't have NVSE), download the "AER14 Only" version of that mod (unless you are also using one of the "Balanced" versions of my mod, GRA Unique Weapons Relocated - see Conflicts above). Users of New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) can download a version of AER14 and Sprtel-Wood 9700 Green Critical Disintegration that relies on scripts and thus will not conflict with this mod.

INSTALLATION
Only download ONE of the seven main/optional files, depending on your preference. Put the contents of the mod folder (the folder with the .esp inside of it) into your Data folder, or use a mod manager. To uninstall, delete the mod's file (the .esp) or uninstall using a mod manager.

ADDENDUM
I have made a lot of mods. Because I like to create different versions to give the user plenty of options, it's extremely difficult for me to bundle my mods together. I recommend getting the FNV Mod Limit Fix by iranrmrf, or try using a tool like Merge Plugins by Mator.
