I have no idea why there aren't many mods, my guess is it's because in vanilla there is already code to allow NPCs to use health-restoring items, they just never carry any healing items in their inventory except for a few cases. Even then it's still a pretty low chance they will use them.
This mod works with anything, all it does is check if an NPC has or drops a certain aid item.
thx for posting this, had an issue where npcs'd do a pickup animation and i was wondering what was causing it, its legit part of the game do you know any way to disable it? (even if the fix breaks this mod because I'd rather have npcs use no items if it means they don't randomly bend over in the middle of a fight) if you don't know how to fix it that's okay
I don’t notice but then again i have a realistic damage mod so enemies die fast but me also is there a tweak that they always use whenever they spot me? And buff what they have like the melee enemies
Did anyone make a script for them to run to cover before they heal? They kind of just stand in the middle of the fight while healing, and get their brains splattered on the walls.
It has been, though. Just off the top of my head, the NPC Healing modules from XFO tried doing the same thing a long time ago. Sure, using the healing modules, as it turns out, would basically bend your saves over and completely wreck them (over time), but it was a very early attempt at it.

1. Is there any other mod that does this (and if not how come)?
2. Does with work with TTW (3.2)?
Thanks all the same.
