      More likely Bethesda never meant super mutants to be more than enemy NPCs to be shot at.

    If you don't like dead blinking, so you can delete all nif files exept nv_marcus.nif

    If you're ever able to discover how to stop super mutants from blinking when they're dead - this fix is also desperately needed to be applied on humans as well! It has been a long time bug since Fallout 3.

    This mod gave me the scare of a lifetime. Was checking a dead supermutant for supplies and as soon as i closed the inventory window it BLINKED

    Obsidian has rushed things even more than bethesda in the end isn't? The terrible rigging of some armors like the boots of some of the cesar's legion, or the left sleeve of the tuxedo, this one... Wow. Not that the animations part has ever been one of obsidian's strength points eh.

      Fanboys always make this weak excuse. They knew what the release window had to be before they started. If they had managed their time better, they would have been able to polish the game towards the end of the development cycle, instead of servicing us what was literally an unplayable piece of hot garbage on release day. So much that post-release patches had to be rushed out to stop the inexplicable random crashes. 3 and 4 were at least serviceable at the time of shipping. And this is before we get into the numerous design flaws of the wasteland itself, which are inherent and not glitches.

      Yeah and I wish guys like you knew the facts. Most of the staff did extra hours and overworked just to get this game out in a playable good state. Anyway, if you complain about polish and bugs, then you can also say hi to Bethesda because they have the same issue. Its mostly a issue with the Engine and how it works though. But if it wouldnt as it does, you probably couldnt mod it that greatly.

      New Vegas is way better than any other Fallout from Bethesda imo. At least it feels like a true RPG. Fallout 3 was fine but 4 is an insult to the once great RPG Fallout franchise. Dont let me start about 76...

      18 months to make new vegas is still the best fallout. 10 years to make fallout 3, seven years to make fallout 4 and those games arent even close to the beauty of fnv. tired of these fake ppl hating on the developers in the comments of nexus mods get the hell out with that bs. you just want attention.

      Yeah, I sure wish Obsidian hadn't rushed the game and gave us a title that was 50% the scale of New Vegas, because I'm sure reviewers wouldn't have teared them a new one because of the game's small size compared to Fallout 3, and because of course I'd rather have less content if it comes with polish, even though the modding community can very well fix bugs and glitches while they have proven incompetent at adding genuine content into the game.

      You do realize that it was Bethesda that rushed Obsidian to push out the game, Obsidian was bound by contract to obey and deliver. And unlike most developers, they always have big ambitions but not enough time and budget to actually accomplish what they want hence why their games tend to be a mess in the release state.

      Rushing yet having a contract to obey are contradictions, as well as having sound ambitions but not the ability to manage them. The fault was largely on Obsidian for bad management, or so former developers have said.

      I find the argument that obsidian had bad time management is stupid. If anything their time management is insanely impressive. Within only 18months they created better and more content than there is in fo3. This came with the price of bugs and lots of cut content. But saying their time management is bad is just ignorant. Yeah, fnv had a shitty launch, but the game launched 10 years ago, no one has to suffer through the launch bugs anymore. Also you cant say that obsidian made s#*! animations,, they are literally the same awfully made animations from fo3. Someone mentioned that fo3 and fo4 were serviceable at launch. In a way, yes, but whats the point? fo4 and fo3 both had awful story lines. Yeah, when fo3 came out i could play it without it crashing, but it was s#*! compared to what fnv would be. I would rather have a buggy masterpiece than a bug-free average open world shooter. Plus, fo3 is literally unplayable on windows 10 without third part programs being installed and tweaked with. Not the case for fnv.

    The mesh order has changed in some nifs. Blood decals might not show up if meatcaps are on top.

      Back when I was tweaking armor meshes, I noticed that first 3 blocks receive decals, no matter what those are. Even gore caps will receive decals if they are in the first 3 places.

      Also found NiAlphaProperty = 0 for meatcaps because Blender resets NiAlphaProperty to zero on export. Default is NiAlphaProperty=138.
