That would require adding the Honest Hearts master file as a dependency. Not really worth it, since it doesn't add anything to the gameplay other than the perk. Better to leave it as a base-game-only compatible weapon for everyone to enjoy.
Also, I'm not sure if this weapon meets the criteria for the perk. It's a heavy machine gun, which is not listed among the affected weapons in the perk description.
Tammer, suggestion, we need more heavy weapons! This model reminded me of the browning 50 cal that is in Fo76. Would love to see that type of gun in NV wielded in that minigun style way.
I don't like the way heavy weapons are carried. It forces you to have a giant handle sticking out the side, and the weapon has to be underslung from the grip. If they had made it so that the off-hand was in line with the main hand, it would be better. But no real world gun has a giant friggin' handle sticking out the side, so I don't want to ruin the aesthetics by adding one merely to suit the game animations.
Never in a million years did I think I'd see this beast in New Vegas! America's first GPMG, more or less. I take it you watch Forgotten Weapons as well?
