== NVSE & JIP LN REQUIRED FOR THIS MOD TO WORK ==
A simple scripted change to several ammo types and their variants, making their weights more closely reflect real life. The vanilla values for many of these would leave you with a hideously underpowered round - except for .45 Auto, which for some reason weighs almost 50% more than what it should. Note that this is somewhat of a nerf to these weapons in hardcore mode (and quite a big buff to .45 Auto weapons!).
Should be compatible with everything. That being said, this is the first script I've ever written, so please let me know if something goes wrong.
To see which rounds were changed, how much they were changed by, and what I based the changes on, please see the table in the Images tab. For the lazy, here's the change log:
.44 went up by 18.6%
.45 Auto went down by 35.4%
.45-70 went up by 30.7%
.50 MG went up by 6%
12.7mm went up by 15.6%
12 gauge went up by 6.7%
20 gauge went up by 7.7%
For those who just want the .45 Auto weight decrease, I added an optional file.
Big thanks to Butter, EPDGaffney, TrueCourierSix, and lStewieAl for basically making this for me teaching me how to make this, and to another good friend of mine for providing me with data for .45-70, .44, and 12 gauge ammunition.
