comment below if u experience any issues, i'll do my best to fix it THIS MOD WONT FIX UR 90 DEGREE BUG, It was never intended to do so see below if u have that issue.
NOTICE: For 90 glasses on face bug, Resort to below.
PaladinSamuel: The YUP patch was the problem!
You can fix it yourself with FNV Edit. Just change the tag on the YUP patch.
Watch this tutorial on how to do it: (the esp. used in the video is for reference. Just load up the FNV esm and YUP patch with FNV edit, find authority glasses in armor, and then change the value that YUP is overwriting: The face model flag, it must say "Head" instead of nothing).

VIDEO ESP IS REFERENCE, MUST PAY ATTENTION AND READ ABOVE THOROUGHLY
(Easier Method) Delete authority glasses from the armor header of the YUP patch in FNVEdit all together. BACK UP THE ESM/ESP!(That u edit). s*** goes wrong when modding for literally no reason ALL THE TIME. Always back your stuff up. IF IT ISNT YUP/Dont Have YUP, load all ur mods in fnvedit, go to authority glasses in the FNVESM. See which mod is overwriting authority glasses, which ever one is the most recent, go to the overwritting mod, delete authority glasses from its armor header.
Hello everyone from 2024 And here is the simplest solution that I found to fix glasses at an angle of 90 degrees. Go to the folder with the mod (in my case, this is the Fallout Character Overhaul mod, it is because of him that the glasses are crooked), then go to meshes and delete the armor folder. The mod is working and the glasses are properly dressed. And I apologize for my English, as I use a Google translator.
I've been searching for a fix for the 90 degree tilt of the authority glasses and I nothing has fixed it its driving me nuts and I think I'm going to just find them and delete them all together.
You've been having that problem too? Where the Authority Glasses are sideways on the NPC or players left side of the face? Got that issue too. Been looking for a fix as well. If I find something I'll add another post here with either a link or instructions. Would appreciate it if you could do the same if you find something to fix it. :)

Hey, I know I know it's probably a pain- but can you drop your edited version of YUP (The most recent with your glasses patch) onto a Google Drive link or something? FNV Edit does not behave on my computer.
I'm having the same issue as Link, and I also cannot edit the female biped, which is also having issues.
Update: Didn't need to touch the female biped, I'm just a total nubcake at FNVEdit. I overlooked YUP's category in the right-hand menu and noticed that even though FNV.esm says "Head", YUP's was blank. Simply slapping "Head" in there did the trick. You don't need to mess with FNV.esm if you already have it set.
Funny, YUP was supposed to fix stuff no break it. The only reason i used it in the first place was to fix broken animations. But at least i learned how to use FNV edit.
Thanks, this fixed it for me. Here is a very detailed instruction on how to go about fixing the .esm:
1)download, extract and open FNVEdit 2)inside the Module Selection window either untick every selection box apart from YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm or just hit OK in the bottom right corner, makes no difference either way 3)inside the main FNVEdit window, find the module YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm in the left pane and click on the cross in front of it to expand the list 4)now find the Armor entry and click on the cross in front of that 5)this will list a lot of FormIDs, EditorIDs and Names you can see these three headers at the very top, just below the two search bars 6)click on the Name header, which will alphabetically sort all entries 7)the view might jump up, just scroll down again until you see the listed items under Armor find Authority Glasses in the last column, then click on it to highlight that row 8)in the right hide pane under the Help/Github/Discord/Patreon etc. icons a list will be populated there are three columns in this pane: the first column has purple entries like Record Header and OBND the second column is mostly empty, apart from some Civilian and "Four Eyes" entries in purple the third column has text for most entries, and uses grey text 9)scroll down slightly until you see an entry in the first column for Male biped model 9)under Male biped model, you'll see a MODL and a MODD entry we need the latter, which is called MODD - FaceGen Model 10)to the right of this entry in the third column there is no text this is the problem we need to rectify 11) double-click this empty cell (make sure to double-click inside the third column's cell, not the second column's) 12)a warning message should appear, wait a bit until the green button highlights and select Yes, I'm absolutely sure 13)From the new selection tick the box next to Head 14) once that's done, you should see the word Head in the third column in grey text next to MODD - FaceGen Model 15)last step is to overwrite the YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm file, so click on the three stripes at the top left corner of the window (above the left pane) select Save
This only really fixes it because the mesh of whatever type of mod you have that redoes NPCs changes their original head mesh, TBH even the VANILLA head mesh has a couple issues withthe cheek bone being fatter than the sunglasses's model. so it clips rigt throguh
This also fixed the majority of clipping on NVR2 characters for me. I still noticed minor clipping on Ranger Ghost, but I can't really complain considering it fixed 99% of my issues despite not even being intended for my installed character overhaul!
Thanks a lot, Authority Glasses are finally a usable accessory for my companions.
For anyone have been dealt with the YUP patch and JSawyer in FNV Edit but didn't work, i found another fix for myself and its work, the problem was the FCO and NVR3, you just have to hide the ncr_civilian/ncr_civ_glasses_m.nid inside the Conflicts section of NVR3 , for MM2 only because i don't know how to deal with another mod manager :) hope this help you and pardon me for my terrible english
I am using Fallout Character Overhaul and my authority Glasses are on the left side of the face and on FNVedit i have on The face model flag head and still not working. What can i do, can someone give me a google drive link with the fix??? PLEASE!!! :(
Thanks y'all for the infos. Me it was JSawyer mod ultimate, using FNVEdit I just had to find Authority glasses in the armor section in the main game .esm, and copy the "HEAD" entry into the JSawyer column where it was missing. Solved!

6)click on the Name header, which will alphabetically sort all entries
7)the view might jump up, just scroll down again until you see the listed items under Armor
find Authority Glasses in the last column, then click on it to highlight that row
8)in the right hide pane under the Help/Github/Discord/Patreon etc. icons a list will be populated
there are three columns in this pane:
the first column has purple entries like Record Header and OBND
the second column is mostly empty, apart from some Civilian and "Four Eyes" entries in purple
the third column has text for most entries, and uses grey text
9)scroll down slightly until you see an entry in the first column for
Male biped model
9)under Male biped model, you'll see a MODL and a MODD entry
we need the latter, which is called MODD - FaceGen Model
10)to the right of this entry in the third column there is no text
this is the problem we need to rectify
11) double-click this empty cell
(make sure to double-click inside the third column's cell, not the second column's)
12)a warning message should appear, wait a bit until the green button highlights and select
Yes, I'm absolutely sure
13)From the new selection tick the box next to
Head
14) once that's done, you should see the word Head in the third column in grey text next to MODD - FaceGen Model
15)last step is to overwrite the YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm file, so
click on the three stripes at the top left corner of the window (above the left pane)
select Save
