I've noticed that when using the 357 version, enemies still have 44 ammo in their inventory

I've fixed this in the Mega-PAck. This version is deprecated.

Would there be a way to make it so I could use both the 357 and 44 versions, but each one has a different texture? (one using the base game, the other using the Dead Money one)

My NIF-Bashed Weapons Pack adds them both as separate weapons. You could then retexture one of the meshes to look however you like.

Dude you keep just spitting these out. You've literally put 5 of these out in the span of one week, 2 of which were within 24 hours. Slow down a bit and make these a little more unique, I'm glad to see you're excited about this game, but try experimenting with mods or weapon packs or ANYTHING that doesn't clog the "New Today" section of the FNV nexus. Try making weapons with WRP, possibly a tiny treasure hunt to find the weapon, seriously. If you're enjoying yourself then don't let me rain sadness on you, just try considering what I'm saying.

The "New Today" section expands as more mods are added, so it's not like there are only five slots available to get clogged up... And for a game that's almost a decade old now, one would think that more new content would be preferable to less. Besides, it's not like I'm releasing low-effort crap either, like a 10mm pistol that does 9999 damage and fires laser beams or something. I'm putting a LOT of hours into these things, even if I do upload them relatively frequently.

The reason I didn't make this gun moddable is simply because I didn't want it to be moddable, not because I didn't care or don't know how, or because I was rushing to upload it. It would've only taken me maybe fifteen minutes to add mod support, but this is how I wanted the weapon to work, so I released it this way. If you absolutely must have the weapon be moddable, you're free load up the plugin in the GECK and tweak it to your heart's content. My permissions allow for that. This is a sandbox and everyone's welcome to play.

As far as WRP goes, I don't like how it tampers with base-game assets and breaks every other mod that tries to use them. This is bad modding etiquette because now everyone comes crying to me about how my mod doesn't work when it's somebody else's mod that broke it! I don't want to encourage this kind of bad etiquette, so my mods will never support WRP, or anything else that breaks base-game compatibility for others.
    2. ...starting out, I thought this was a positive comment. The New Vegas Nexus desperately needs new blood.

I think. Maybe. I don't know, maybe I'm just intimidated by the feeds of bigger games.

I mean, he's not releasing some f*#@-doll, skimpy armor mods that make 0 sense to be worn in the wastes. He's releasing weapons made from vanilla resources that fit into the game quite well if you ask me. We're not exactly drowning in NV mods these days, small mods like this keep the game alive, somewhat.
