I've been using this gun for a few days now, and it's so good! A quest and custom weapon mods would be very welcome, though. Perhaps lowering the damage would be a good decision as well; As it stands now, it's way too overpowered. Other than that, this gun is perfect!

Any suggestions as to how much to lower the damage by? The vanilla That Gun does 30 per shot, whereas a bog-standard 10mm Pistol does 22. This one does 25, so it's not all that much more powerful than the 10mm...

EDIT: Maybe I could lower the weapon's condition as a compromise? A gun with this many automated moving parts is bound to be finicky. If I halve the condition, you won't be able to spam bullets, and would have to use it more judiciously. Not sure if that would be more frustrating than balancing, though...

My thought was that it would have been used as a last resort or basic starting weapon. If it's to be given at the beginning, I'd say lower the damage to at least 20 or 18 so as to keep the balance. But throughout the game, you could find upgrades to raise the damage or reduce the rate it loses condition. Another idea I had was that there could be an npc that'd replace it with a better version but with a higher degradation rate and it's own mods spread throughout the Mojave. Idk :P

That's a good idea, actually, nerfing both the damage and condition and then using mods to restore them later. I think I'll turn the damage down to 15 (less than even the vanilla 9mm Pistol) and halve the base condition.

To make it a little more lore friendly I'd suggest putting the location in the abandon BoS bunker where Elijah was. That and not being able to start the game with basically a over powered weapon at the start. but thats up to you. Nice mod tho!

The mod is still a work in progress. I eventually plan to add a custom dungeon and quest to acquire it. This current release is just my testing file, with only the core functionality enabled and no provision made for it being overpowered or being able to be acquired too early. I figure anyone downloading this has already put a minimum of 500 hours into New Vegas and is just looking for a new toy to play with. I just released this as a fun plaything for everyone while I'm working on the rest of the mod.
