About:

I started this mod after many, many hours of playing Fallout NV with Factions Reloaded - Merge installed. The first time I installed the mod and encountered the NCR sandbag checkpoint to the East of Wolfhorn Ranch and the floating walls by the new Legion camp near Cottonwood Cove, I uninstalled it. I tried other mods that were supposed to add a larger/better Legion presence and none felt as nice. So I reinstalled it and just lived with the issues. Recently I have learned more about the GECK and decided to tackle these fixes myself.

This mod is both about fixing those clipping and item placement issues, as well as making the mod and the Mojave feel more alive. In addition to clipping fixes I have set certain NPCs to respawn, changed their behavior to hopefully improve game performance, and added things that I personally felt were missing. Everything that I have done has been documented below! This way you aren't downloading any surprises with my mods. This is still a work in progress, and due to the extent of Factions Reloaded - Merge, I know there are issues that I haven't found myself yet. If you find any, please feel free to let me know in the comments and I'll add them to my list of things that still need fixed!

Overall NPC Changes:

Performance Fixes?:
- Some new NPCs were changed to "No Low Level Processing", meaning that "The NPC does not update its AI unless the player is in the same cell as it." This will prevent your game from running checks on that NPCs location when you are nowhere near it. This will not affect any caravans or NPCs that are intended to roam.

Wolfhorn Ranch:

Legion Raid Camp:

- (1) Legion Sniper set to respawn (he is to the South fighting the deserters)
- (3) Legion Deserters set to respawn (they are south of Nipton)

Searchlight Airport NCR Camp:
- (6) Legion Deserters attacking the camp set to respawn
- (3) NCR Troopers added to combat the Legion Deserters
    - Ensures that First Sergeant Astor will not be killed by them

Legion Forward Camp Gamma (Near Cottonwood Cove):
- NOTE: I completely changed the walls to this camp. It didn’t make sense to me that Cottonwood Cove, the largest Legion presence West of the river, had no hard structural defenses yet this “camp” had a cement wall around it. The wall also had a lot of clipping issues, height inconsistencies, and parts showing that had texture gaps. While this is the largest Legion camp added by Factions Reloaded, I didn’t think it fit the lore (personally). If the legion was able to construct a cement wall around a camp, why don’t they have fortifications elsewhere? There is now a scrap wall around the camp so it feels more like a forward camp, along with a few additions. I also added more Legion forces to the camp due to its proximity to Cottonwood cove.
- (1) Tent to the West and 2 sleeping bags adjusted so tent is on ground and sleeping bags are under it [v1.1]
- (2) Crucifixes at the front no longer float [v1.1]
- (1) Campfire and (4) log seats by it no longer float [v1.1]
- (1) Main tent no longer floats [v1.1]
- (1) Desk in main tent now rests on the ground, no longer partially floating [v1.1]
- (14) Sleeping bags no longer float! [v1.1]
- (1) Tree stump added to hold up the tongue of the other camper trailer so it doesn’t defy physics [v1.1]
- (1) Sleeping bag deleted from under the camper [v1.1]
- (4) Benches adjusted to reduce NPC clipping into ground when seated [v1.1]
- (1) The Legion Merchant decided to build a platform for his “shop” so it no longer floats [v1.1]
- (2) Legion soldiers no longer fall when they spawn in (originally placed a ways above the ground) [v1.1]
- (2) Tents no longer float [v1.1]
- (2) Footlockers no longer float [v1.1]
- (1) Added another sandbag overlook on the ridge with (1) Legion Sniper [v1.1]
- (9) Legionaries of different classes added to the camp to account for the slightly increased size [v1.1]
- (2) Legion Mongrels added to the entrance [v1.1]
- (1) Legion Brahmin added and (1) Slave to care for it [v1.1]
- Added a basic target range [v1.1]

New Dayglow (Followers Camp)
- (3) Followers guards added to help prevent Legion attacks from killing named NPCs [v1.2]
 
Marauder Camp
- (2) Sleeping Bags no longer float [v1.2]
- (2) Mattresses no longer float[v1.2]

Camp Searchlight
- (1) Legion tent to the east removed, and elevated sandbag bunker put in its place. Legion sniper spawns in the elevated bunker now [v1.2]
 
Legion Camp Beta
- NPCs no longer spawn in the air and drop to the ground [v1.2]
- (2) Sleeping bags no longer float [v1.2]
- (1) Chair outside no longer floats [v1.2]

- Mod areas not found yet? Seriously, I don't know if there are any other locations added by this mod that have clipping or placement issues. If so please let me know!
