Many thanks to neunen for giving me permission to upload this to the Nexus.

For Fallout NV this was previously only available as an outfit-only mod.

I have changed this into a full companion, but there is also a footlocker with
the items to wear for the player character. The companion is located in
Goodsprings' Saloon.

Companion features are:

- Instantly hireable. No messing with quest requirements.

- Embedded .44 Magnum with unlimited ammo. The Doctor will only use another
  gun if it is more powerful than his embedded gun.

- Embedded Prodding Stick contaminated with the plague. The Doctor will
  only use another melee weapon if it is more powerful than his embedded one.

- His outfit is non-playable, that means you cannot take off his outfit.

- Voiced dialogue.

- Initially set to Essential when not yet hired. When hired in normal mode,
  companions in NV are always essential and this can't be toggled off.

- SetEsssential toggle option in the menu is only available in hardcore mode
  due to the above mentioned game limitation.

- Teleporter to teleport companion to the player or vice versa. Always unequip
  the teleporter after teleporting to prevent glitches.

- Waiting equals relaxing, with custom idles.

- There is no Go Home option, only a Fired option.

- No idle chatter.

- Custom idles in follow mode.

- Will sit when the player sits.

- Will sleep in waiting mode and at night when there is an unowned bed nearby.

- The prodding stick is a special weapon which does little damage, however it
  is contaminated with the plague. Once the Doctor hits an enemy with the stick,
  the enemy's health will slowly start to degrade. After about 5 to 10 real time
  minutes (depending on how strong the enemy is) the enemy will die. That means
  you can leave a battle scene if you see the Doctor hit an enemy. After a while the
  Doctor will (hopefully, this is untested as of yet) catch up with you and leave the
  enemy to die.

- The Doctor can infect others with the Plague and they will slowly lose health as
  long as the Doctor is within three meters of them. The function can be toggled
  on or off from the menu (default is OFF).

Note that I like my companion dialogue menus to be minimal with only the most
useful stuff, so I won't be adding new features.

The footlocker is located in Goodsprings Cemetary (New Vegas). It respawns, it
has an average lock and it contains the following playable items:

- Plague Doctor Bag
- Plague Doctor Hat
- Plague Doctor Mask
- Plague Doctor Prodding Stick
- Plague Doctor Robe

The clothes have the following attributes:

- Robe (playable version in the footlocker):
