Damn this is great, I always meant to use ATTT but my game's modded with so many hundreds of weapons that you rarely see half of them more than twice in a playthrough, if at all, and I just didn't have the patience to spend weeks editing nifs of each individual weapon. This works out extremely well for me since it removes that process.
If you're ever looking for ideas it'd be nice to be able to have one handed pistols return to a 3 o'clock hip position like when holstered instead of dangling off the back. Would probably need a check first though to make sure one isn't switching from pistol to another pistol, otherwise you'd have two stacked on top of each other when reholstering the currently equipped pistol.
Just downloaded a holster mod, and came here looking for this comment! Seeing as C16 has closed his account, you don't happen to - by some miracle - know if this exists, after two years, do you?
There seems to be a bug where the holster for the weapon is broken so it'll get stuck trying to equip the broken item forever, best to do is reinstall mod, or remove the holster from your inventory with commands and then reload your save in the hopes it'll give a new holster for use.
Copying my bug report here in case anyone is scratching their head about this issue: With this installed, your inventory and hotkeys will always equip the lowest-condition copy of whatever weapon you're trying to use.

For example, let's say you've got three hunting rifles -- one modded and in good condition, one in medium condition, and one in bad condition. The first time you try selecting the good or even medium-condition ones, it will instead equip the variant with the lowest condition. This affects hotkeyed weapons, as well. Your inventory will incorrectly appear as if you equipped the one you intended to until it is refreshed. There is a workaround (inventory only, not hotkeys) where if you try equipping the copy you actually want a second time, it will be equipped correctly.
The mod author deleted their account, so I don't expect an official response or fix, but if anyone figures something out in the G.E.C.K. or FNVedit, let me know. I'm interested.
Nadie2283, do you know if it's safe to just change this mod's Biped Flag to choker instead? I have alot of items using the necklace slot. (or should I just try it and find out lol :-) Edit Nope, changing this mod's slot doesn't work. Do NOT try this at home! Do what Nadie2283 said..
This is awesome! I initially installed this without any patch just to see if the weapon would appear at my feet. Indeed it did! It was fun until I crashed my game equipping a weapon from another mod. Guess that's what directions are for lol. I know there is a skeleton patch available on this mod for Quickthrow (thanks for that!), but I have multiple mods from Xilandro in addition to Quickthrow , so I tried NV Compatibility Skeleton to patch multiple mods with its skeleton.nif. All my mods requiring a "patch" work well together now! (NV Compatibility Skeleton is supposed to work for BnB and Ragdoll as well as others for anyone with compatibility issues.)
Anyway, this is a great mod that's alot of fun to play with. Thank you!
Love what the mod is supposed to do. And at one point it worked perfectly for me. But for some reason recently my weapons are attached to the bottom of my shoes and not my back. I've even install new vegas fresh with no other unrequired mods and it still happens. I'm stumped.
I would say it's an issue on my end, but like i said it worked fine for months and then just, guns on the ground lol.
you've installed a mod that needs patching. Likely a b42 mod (from xilandro) or Ragdolls from madace. Whichever case, they both provide patches in their mod's page.

That might be possible, I'll take a look into it sometime

Just a heads up if this mod is still alive.
