If you are following the "New Vegas U.L.T.I.M.A.T.E. - Complete Modular Modding Guide" stability of your game is likely to be compromised due to reasons unrelated to this mod. We aren't responsible for such issues and won't be able to provide support.
If anyone is using the auto pipboy remover, it may not work - what you can do however is to use it as a replacer for the good ol' pipboy - install the textures for this pipboy as normal, but copy the meshes to the pipboygoodol folder and overwrite any existing files. Next time you launch the game bring up the pipboy remover's MCM and change the pipboy type to Good Ol' Pipboy and it should work without a hitch.
If using FOV Slider, set the pipboy fov to 55 or higher otherwise you won't be able to see the time and date.
For anyone having the issue of a bright pink and white square appearing on the pipboy screen when invisible, there is a mod linked by AleksMarch further in the comments that somehow removes the square by adding a glow to the stat/item/data buttons.
I'm using the replacer, dunno how any of this may apply to the standalone.
Thanks for the screenshot. I see what it's about. I'll try to add a quick "hotfix" for that this month. I wasn't planning an update until after I got back to work on Vault City in our project. In any case I will still have to refine the model, because AlexSolo made this one before F76 was released and some nuances were simply unknown to us.
does anyone have and idea on why none of the mods will work for me, ive tried the 2500 and it was invis and trying to bring it up on my arm. and the 2000 just never showed up and idk why and then i just tried the model replacer and that didn't work either, can someone help?
Model is great, textures are great, I'd love to use this mod but it has one major draw back - When playing with Simple Interior Lighting Overhaul or Darker Nights or similar mod, the pip boy is completely unusable even with the glow add on. You cant see the different buttons, which could be solved by having the actual buttons glow like with the original. Ive tried work arounds but none seem to work. A real shame
Judging from the screenshots, I can assume that the lighting mod applies some imagespace modifier that dampens bright yellow/orange colors, which causes the glow of the pip-boy textures to be damped. The fix would be to increase the brightness of the Pip-Boy glow directly in the .nif model to a level that exceeds the values overlapped by the color filter.
I also use SILO and came here to look for a solution. Since they mentioned the colour filter I edited the .dds and overlaid a slightly transparent white which seems to work without being overly bright in lit areas. Here's the file, it would be cool if you could put it up as an alternate download. I also want to know about the button glowing. https://pixeldrain.com/u/HrH1STr1
I enjoy this. My only complaint is that the working clock isn't included in the main file like you did for the Pip-Boy 2000.
Further feedback i'd like to give (that is if you care about accuracy) is that there should be no back lights on the date/clock counter (i'd add that on the optional mod that adds lights), and the back light (or background texture) from the geiger/radiation meter should be white, not yellowish. (Unless Bethesda updated the look?).

UPD Mod "Nevada Skies - Weather Effects" was the problem.
MCM - Nevada Skies - FX - Light Intensity - change 0 to 1.
