This mod adds a scratch-made Finnish Jatimatic (Pronounced yaht-uh-mat-ic) submachine gun to the Mojave, featuring custom meshes, 2K textures, sounds, and icons.

Introduction
This mod adds a scratch-made Jatimatic SMG to the Mojave. The Jatimatic is an odd submachine gun designed and built in Finland from 1983 to 1986. It uses an open-bolt, delayed blowback mechanism that utilises an off-axis bolt to both control recoil and delay the opening of the action, much like the French MAS-38. The gun was intended to be used by security guards, undercover police, and bodyguards, and thus needed to be compact yet controllable. However, the SMG had three flaws which prevented it from being commercially successful: the lack of a shoulder stock, the sling swivel which doubled as the disassembly lever, and the fact that the gun could only be fired with the forward grip extended. Only about 400 guns were produced before the project was abandoned. Nevertheless, the guns had a reputation for being unusually accurate and controllable due to the strangely angled barrel-bolt interface.
The animations are not completely true to life, but they fit the model rather well. Any animation pack should work decently with the model. A separate version has been included that works a bit better with Asurah's Animation Pack.

The weapon and its mods are located on one of Doc Mitchell's bookshelves, the one nearest to the door.
Alternatively, the gun can be obtained through console commands. The weapon ID is xx000ADE, where xx is its position in your load order.
This mod may conflict with other mods that put stuff on Doc Mitchell's hallway bookshelf.

Installation
To install the mod, simply extract the folder labeled "Data" into your Fallout New Vegas main directory, and allow all folders to merge. Then, activate the .esp in your load order. Or, you could use a Mod Manager.
