Very neat idea, I always wanted a weapon wheel mod that integrates well into the vanilla hotkey system, and this is almost exactly what I was looking for. Not sure if you're still interested in updating this mod at all after all this time, but there are a couple of requests I'd like to make to improve its usability:
1. Is there some way to make it so Mouse1 acts as the "select" button when the wheel is open? Most other games with an item wheel system allow you to select your items by simply clicking your mouse after hovering over the one you want. I feel like this alone would be a huge improvement for the mod. Right now I try to select an item and I just keep shooting by accident.
2. Could you add an option for opening the item menu by just scrolling up or down with the mouse scroll wheel? (which would disable zooming in and out with the third person camera, of course)
I installed this and my scroll button and scroll wheel are not bringing up the hotkey menu. My scroll button changes my view as usual and the scroll wheel is just making me zoom in and out. Any help?

I eventually got this to work. I fogtot how but it was working well throughout my plathrough
im having a hard time getting this to work contextually with StewieAI's tweaks, any suggestions? i dont know what combination of tweaks to use to get it all to do what it needs to
hmm, i was hoping to just use it together including the second slot as is, i prefer a more vanilla feel but your hud is just perfect (if it had JHC's vault boys thouuuuuuugh it would be a 12/10), i could always do this though, leaves more slots open
Big fan of this implementation. It's simple but great, stands up well next to more complicated alternatives.
Just a heads up, this isn't compatible with this 2019 update to DarNified UI. I was confused when I updated from an older DarNUI, which I had no problems with. It looks like the latest version moved the "Hokeys" blocks from under "LocWrap" to "HotkeyWrap" and that's why the wheel wouldn't show up. It showed up just fine once I changed the script targets to that new menu address.
I still very much like this mod, so I'm here to remind you to move the line 'Sv_Destruct sString' in the script 'HSWSCPTFnGetHokeys' right after the final endif, as it's possible for there to be no item assigned to a slot, and in that case, the string_var will not be cleared and will bloat the save, since you already set it above using 'let sString := "HUDMainMenu\Hokeys\hotkey_selector\HK_Item_" + $iKey + "\_HotKeyAssigned"', which doesn't require an item to exist.
Hi, not to be a pain in the butt, but how do I get the menu to appear on screen? I have Darn UI and OneHud for my UI mods. I can click down on the scroll wheel button, scroll, and click the select key again and my weapon will change, so the mod is working. Smart stuff! Just the menu is not appearing, so I don't really know what I'm selecting. I downloaded this after both mods. Anything I'm not thinking of? Thank-you!
Excellent mod! It would be great if you could make a patch for loot menu, so it doesn't scroll through weapons while scrolling through inventory. If not, is there a way to fix that myself? :D
