I've got a question: What does Degeneration do? I mean, it drains your health and increases radiation and hardcore needs, but what else does it do? Do you revert to a previous incarnation or do you just die?

After installing the mod and picking the trait I just keep regenerating. I messed about the ini but with no luck. The ini settings I set don't even seem to be having an effect. NVSE and JIP are up to date.

I had this issue as well. If its anything like my issue was, then try lowering the default radiation limit that would trigger the regeneration. I get the feeling that the number is somehow reversed, i.e. a higher limit actually corresponds to being less radiation and a lower limit corresponds to a higher level of radiation. I had lowered it down to 500 to be safe (which worked) but I never did any extensive testing.

Another point of note that I noticed is that any changes you make to the ini do not seem to apply to a preexisting save file. So once you make the change you will need to start a new game. This is probably what you are seeing when you say changing the ini doesn't seem to be having any effect because.... well it isn't for that already established save file. However, the changes to the ini should apply to any new game you start with those setting.

I unfortunately ran into this issue again with the Regeneration limit as I mentioned in another post here. As I can't just change the number of Regenerations in the ini to get more since I'm already so far into the game with the character in question.

I know it has been quite some time since anyone has posted here. However, I have a question I hope someone can answer.

I've been using this mod in my playthrough and have been enjoying it. However, when I first started I set the Regeneration limit to 12 as it is in the TV show. Now I'm on my final incarnation and I decided I should have picked a higher number. I'm wondering if there is some command or some way to increase the number of Regenerations my character has mid playthrough. I changed it in the Time Lord.ini but that doesn't seem to have an affect on a currently ongoing playthrough. I tried to remove the perk and re-add it but I can't seem to figure out how to target the perk.

Yes I have NVSE and JIP LN updated. Although I did try adding the perk mid playthrough, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I also have this issue. Just started a new game and choose Time Lord and I nonstop regenerate. Only mods I have is NVSE, JIP LN, and Enhanced Camera.

EDIT: I managed to prevent the constant regen by going into the ini file and greatly decreasing the default radiation limit (lowered down to 500 to be safe).

Glad to see you've done it as a perk

This sounds really cool..... I kinda want to do a DUST run with this lol.

Would it be possible to also add it to (optionally) randomize skill points?

I would rather not do that. Skill points are meant to be learned ability (combined with some innate bonuses). The innate bonuses are already changed by this mod (through the SPECIAL randomizer), but I would rather not change the learned abilities. Skills also have a lot more perks and variables affecting them, making them less safe to edit. I thought about adding trait reselection as well, but decided against it for similar reasons.

I've played through FWV at least half a dozen times by now. It's gotten stale for me, but I have missed being a Time Lord on this playthrough. With this mod - that changes! Thanks to your valiant efforts, I no longer have to ponder whether or not I should reinstall FWV just for the regeneration feature. Instead, I'll be able to use this. The particle effects for this mod are preferable to FWV's, too, so that's a bonus.

    Gallifrey rises!! Endorsed.
