Hello everybody! This is a very small, fully voice-acted quest mod that adds a tiny new worldspace, a truckload of new foods, some weapons, a few pieces of apparel, magazines, some skill books, and a bunch of unique clutter. Just in time for the holidays!

The file does not require any DLC, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.

A WORD OF WARNING TO ENB USERS
This mod uses Imagespace Modifiers for fade-to-black scenes and other effects, which won't work with an ENB.
If you want to play this mod, you MUST install and use TommInfinite's IMOD Emulator.
This is non-negotiable. No excuses - especially if you plan on showcasing the mod!

Sugarloaf is a small Giddyup Buttercup who is looking for someone to help her read a note. Easy enough, right? If you're up for an adventure, you'll get to visit Trinity Point, a windy and isolated place somewhere snowy and cold.

The quest is rather straightforward and was finished in about two months. It may not take hours to complete, but it may amuse you for an hour or two. I didn't really check. That's why I also didn't upload more pics, to avoid spoilers. I also didn't write a walkthrough because it's so short, but if anybody really wants one just let me know and I'll put one up.

As this was something I made for myself, I WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES. I will not add to it or subtract from it. This is offered as-is.
I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. EDIT THE MOD YOURSELF IF YOU WANT TO ADD / SUBTRACT MORE!

Here's part 1 of a playthrough by AlChestBreach. Thanks! <3

And another one by tgspy! Thank you! <3

Simply head to Jean Sky Diving and you'll spot a certain someone looking at a note stuck to the back of a sign by the crossroads. Things will move on from there.

Some suspension of disbelief.

Oh, and TommInfinite's IMOD Emulator if you play with an ENB.

If you don't like the idea of keeping the old tabletop framed pictures when the quest is done, you can download the small pack I have available that replaces these pictures with more generic artwork.

Additionally, a small pack of screenshots that replace the game's splash screens is also available, bundled with music, in case you want to bring some more extra cheer to your game.

The Winter Cottage is TINY. If you bring a big army along they'll stand on furniture and stuff. It already becomes a bit difficult to navigate with the characters I am accounting for (Sugarloaf, the player and one more NPC) so keep that in mind. Similarly, avoid running inside as you'll trip over the furniture as well.

Trinity Point has a custom weather set so I am not sure how well it'll play with mods such as Nevada Skies. Your mileage may vary.

Some NPCs are added to Primm, Boulder City and the NCR Sharecropper Farms. I don't really think they should cause issues with other mods, but, if you find any, please let me know so I can list them here.

To install, extract the contents of your downloaded file to your "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data" folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or you can use your mod manager of choice to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go.

- I hate [thing] and [thing] and [thing]! You should have done [thing] and [thing] instead! And while you're at it remove [thing] and [thing] and add [thing] and [thing]! And [thing] is NOT LORE FRIENDLY! FIX THIS!
- This isn't a restaurant. If you don't like something, use the console to disable it, remove it with the GECK or FNVEDIT, or sell it off. I am done with the mod and won't be making any changes. In other words...

- I used the console to [do thing you're not supposed to do] and saw [thing you're not supposed to see]! FIX IT!
- Go away...

- The new textures are too low res and ugly! I cannot stand this!
- Most of these textures are 1K and 512x, actually, so I dunno why you're complaining, but if you want them to be higher feel free to make some yourself. In other words...

- I'm lagging all over the place! Help!

- I tested this mod on a heavily modded setup, on a mid-range gaming laptop. The cottage may be bit demanding because of all the clutter, but it shouldn't be too bad. Obviously, if you're playing on a coal-powered machine, you will definitively have some performance loss, so feel free to open the mod in the GECK and remove some decor if you want.

- I hate stuff being static! I wanna pick things up!

- I don't like knocking things around all the time, and there's plenty of clutter everywhere already. In other words...

- Why is the download so freakin' big?! I can't be bothered, it's gonna take me ages!
- There are many, MANY unique assets in the mod that were required to achieve the look I was going for. This includes dialogue, sounds, high-res textures and new models. In other words...

- Is this compatible with [mod]?

- Dunno. Pretty much everything is kinda out of the way, and I don't  use any mods that conflict. If you spot any issues, please let me know so I can list them here.

- How come the mod looks different in my game than your screenshots?

- Mattafex kindly took the screenshots for the mod page, so direct any questions about this to him.

- The mod is awful/glitchy/buggy/etc. I am going to uninstall it and I must let everybody know!

- Sad to see you go~

- The mod sucks!

- So does a vaccuum cleaner
