So a big oversight on the part of lots of mod authors is the last quest of dead money where you must run to a terminal with percision timing and if you have a mod that modifies movement speed like me who is using an animation replacer or mods that add movement inertia you are just screwed

I just got a message that one of my mods had been downloaded 1000 times.

I'm glad that it helped people enjoy the game. Stay frosty Lone Wanderers.

I'm at the ending stretch, and there's this one ANNOYING speaker that I absolutely can't find at all. Let's see how this mod helps. I don't want to remove the elements outright, but the ultra-hidden speakers seem a bit excessive if you're not a hardcore player, and are just playing for the story.

Dead Money is by far my favorite New Vegas DLC (and I love all of them so that's high praise) but even I got tired of the bomb collars and toxic clouds eventually. They were perfect for a creepy, tense atmosphere the first time I played through the DLC but after that I wanted to be able to explore in peace without completely disabling the tension or breaking the DLC. This mod is EXACTLY what I was looking for, thanks for this!

Endorsed. I started playing DM recently for the first time and after about 30 minutes I was already fed up with the exploding collar. I have absolutely no desire to waste my time destroying radios all the time. So I needed a mod to remove this nonsense. This is the mod that does it safest as it does not remove functions from scripts (which would introduce possible breakage), but this rather ups the values of some variables so that radios and clouds do less damage. I have modified the values even more in GECK, to (GetSecondsPassed * 0.01) and (PlayerREF.GetBaseActorValue Health / 4000). I did not check yet how long it takes before a collar explodes or the player gets poisoned but it should take a very long time with these settings.

This mod is nice - it doesn't break the game, just softens it up a little. I plan to use it in co-op mode just to make DM a bit smoother when goofing around with my buddy (we don't want to use companions when we don't have to), although I prefer vanilla when playing solo.

First time uploading a mod. It's a simple math tweak, and relieves the most annoying aspect of this particular DLC, while leaving in the game mechanics that govern it so that all the scripts associated with it can function normally. You'll still need some healing items to brave the Toxic Cloud, but it's not anywhere near as deadly.

IF I hadn't already uploaded one around a year or so ago, I'd totally download this!

Not shaming the mod, and this Is a nice release considering It's your first upload; It's the simple ones like these that make the most noticeable impact, and I'm glad that ones like these still get uploaded.
