It makes sense to me that the Businesswear can't be cleaned. Surely it'd be dry-clean only

So, I saw a mod that was released recently and it reminded me of this and its lack of clean business wear(thanks, Obam- uh, Obsidian): http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60209/?
I know this mod is a request and not exactly subject to further change, but I also know you mod for fun so it might be in your interest at some point That said, this isn't a request(to be honest, I haven't downloaded this mod or the one I linked to), but again I just thought if you ever felt like it you might find what I linked to useful.

Brilliant yet simple mod. I'm amazed no one has thought of it before. I would have added water to the recipe (have you ever tried rubbing dry detergent powder on dry clothes? I have. Don't ask.) but that's a personal preference. Not a criticism or a request, just a random thought. I work graveyard and take insomnia meds, don't mind my meandering babble. Where was I?

I thought about that too, but then I'd need to make two recipes for each with dirty and unpurified water, and to be honest I couldn't bother, haha. I'm terrible like that. I mean, some recipes that would obviously require water (such as black coffee in Honest Hearts) don't have it in their recipes either, so... Perhaps some day

A compromise, if you wanted to go there (and again, I'm just spitballing ideas. If any stick, credit isn't necessary) maybe a campfire near a fresh water source. A setup near one of the Goodsprings Source wells. Under water towers, as long as their spigot gives clean water. Down along river beaches in places a plausible campsite could be. Maybe set up a campfire complete with clothes lines and a shopping cart full of detergent on the scavengers platform out on Lake Mead. Main point being campfires near fresh water sources so that it's implied that even if water isn't part of the recipe its an obvious pre-game feature of soaking the clothes first.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must speak to a man about my missing left foot.

You could simplify your conundrum by requiring clean water only. Not much point cleaning laundry with dirty, irradiated water.

Hah, okay, okay. I'm sick today and feel awful (seems like I got a sinus infection, yuck - my head feels like it's gonna explode) but took the time to make one version that requires water as well as detergent. Hope that's better

Thank you. I'm sorry for pestering you this morning. I should not be allowed computer access before I've slept off my meds.

Well, I know for a fact that I feel like shootin' up some raiders if I get smelly. I need to wash my clothes and shower often, so yeah, survival drama indeed, haha!
