Hi there :) I just do not understand the reason for the constant crash- what's interesting, all is fine in an open field, but whenever leaving a building, BAM :) Is it v0.322? I do not use NVSR, just NVTF - New Vegas Tick Fix - New Vegas Tick Fix. Playing on a quite decent device, mods are mostly for weaponry, NMC Performance texture pack with Mojave Sandy Desert, Dynavision, etc. Could it be due to Project Nevada and Afterwar Nevada coallision? Maybe FOOK would help? :D Yukichigai Unofficial Patch - YUP - YUP - Base Game and All DLC is already in use.
Are you using the 4GB patcher? Oxide ENB does work with v0.322, I can confirm that. You may have various compatibility issues with your other mods; I’m not positive Dynavision is compatible with ENBs that provide focus/blur effects. Wish I could give better advice, but all I’d suggest for now is you disable your mods one at a time to try and isolate the problem’s cause.
Thank You very much for the answer- indeed, somehow I had a suspicion on Dynavision and 0.322; about the latter one- where could I get 0.267? In a official site just some versions are available.
As I stated, Oxide ENB DOES work with v0.322 - I used to think it didn’t because I was getting issues with lag and crashing, but it turned out that was due to NVSR. Trust me, you don’t need to get v0.267, and I don’t think it’s available for download now anyway. Try disabling/uninstalling Dynavision to see if that helps. If you’re not using the 4GB patcher, that may be essential for this mod to work properly too.
It's a shame this was never updated since the exact ENB version this was created for, no longer exists. Whatever variables this relied on in .267 to look just as it does in the screenshots, as well as on my previous installments years back, don't exist or are changed in .451.
hey i got the enb just fine and it working accept at night its still super bright out like basically same light level as day but with a diffrent skybox anybody know what i can do
I'm for some reason having a really tough time understanding how to get this enb installed and running, if I could get a hand from anyone that'd be great. Tia
Download version 0.451 from here and copy only the D3D9.dll file to your New Vegas directory (where the .exe file is, not the data folder).
Download this mod and copy all files (except the data folder) to the same place.
You will probably need the 4GB patcher if you don’t already have it - again, copy it to your New Vegas directory, then run it as administrator.
By the way, there’s an extra tool I really like. It’s an ENB manager, which basically allows you to switch presets without having to manually move around files. If you want to use it, go through its process instead of following step 2. Basically you just copy the ENB preset files to the manager’s directory instead of the game’s.
im having some issues i cant seem to figure out what to do with I tried using the enb but ended up at some point in some places with what kinda looks like background textures popping up on the screen where they should not be
like on the road with mountains on both sides going into prim i had rocks trees and shrubs showing up like background images when i looked towards those rocky hills
now the way i installed this mod was getting enb then putting all files except the data folder into my fallout folder and since i didn understand the install part of the data folder i just put that in afterwards
that was properly wrong but i had no idea what it meant so if anyone has any idea why it does this and how to fix it i would appreciate it
I’d also need help with what it means by install what was in the data folder into the game, I have a mod manager and it won’t let me do anything with what’s in the data folder
Don't install ENB's with a mod manager lol. Just drag all files into the folder with the FalloutNV.exe and make sure the contents of the enb's data folder ends up inside the game folders Data folder. done
