Returning to ttw I ended up looking for this mod again, using the always 49 vanilla version, I suddenly had big issues with fast traveling and loading in the game without being stuck on a endless loading screen

this mod doesn't keep giving you hp; your level goes back to 49 and your hp too.
isn't there a mod that does this?

Im a little confused about the skill max of 200. I am level 26 and just got my guns to 100 and it wouldn't let me go any higher? do i have to get to level 49 first? or is it a conflict with others mods. I have NVSE and all dlc

The level-up screen never shows values above 100. If you have 100 guns and take a skill book (Guns and Bullets) then your skills are set to 103 or 104 but the level-up screen still only shows the 100. But skills above 100 don't have any effect anyway unless you use a mod to boost those skills. In my opninion, skills above 100 are not necessary in this game, and the code from this mod to stop leveling up when all skills are 200 is useless.

The mod also has a dependency on Gun Runners Arsenal (and other DLC's), which is annoying. I don't want to have to use GRA because of all the pip boy clutter it brings. A no DLC version is found here:

    https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55237

But the simplest solution would be to just type "player.setlevel 49" in the console whenever you have reached level 50. Or, if you have trouble remembering such a command, then create a reset.txt file with the line "player.setlevel 49" in the fallout base folder and activate it with "bat reset" everytime after leveling up to 50.

No mod needed for something so simple.

will this still work if all your skills are at 100? or will the game not be able to continue when all skills are maxed out?

    please respond.

im really late with this, but use the mod LevelUpNoLock to raise the skill max to 255, also makes it so you don't have to level your skills. i hope it helps in someway.

This mod caused immense texture bugs for some reason. They didn't occur until one of my files was high enough to utilize this mod, but once I did revert to level 49 again, missing textures and freezing occurred everywhere. Deleted said mod, and missing textures were gone.

I don't know why it would. I just wrote a script to detect that if you are level 50 then reset your level to 49. Never messed with any textures.

This sounds like a cheat...but it is a good cheat! Finally, I can become IMMORTAL.

Not really a cheat. I wanted to expand the character leveling system since I found it limiting. I still want to add to it later on, but first I have to recover my work.

      Thanks for liking my mod.
