I was able to get this to work with MO2.
    1. Download ModFusion
    2. Extract it to a folder using a program like 7zip (called ModFusion for example)
    3. Add Modfusion.exe as an executable in MO2 (in the drop down next to the run button, click "edit" and navigate to that folder you just made)
    4. Download CASE and Leveled List Organizer
    5. Extract CASE and Leveled List Organizer to the Modfusion folder you just made
    6. Run Modfusion.exe in MO2
    7. Open your overwrites folder at the bottom of the MO2 mod list and look for "CASE.esm" and "Leveled List Organizer.esm" and "Leveled List Organizer.esp" and keep the overwrites folder open in MO2
    8. Right click on the mod list and go to All Mods --> Create an empty mod
    9. Create a mod named "CASE" and "Leveled List Organizer" (Or you could put them in the same mod but this is for clarity)
    10. From the overwrites folder, drag "CASE.esm" into the CASE mod and "Leveled List Organizer.esm" and "Leveled List Organizer.esp" into the Leveled List Organizer mod
    11. Ensure they're checked off (enabled) in the mod list and plugins list
(optional) 12. Create a merged patched with merged plugins if you're using any other mods which heavily alter leveled lists like NAWEMO - NPCs use Ammo Variants and Weapon Mods (works great with this mod IMO) because if you don't there WILL be crashing (for me it was on fast travel to Novac)
(optional) 13. Sort with LOOT if applicable

Now launch your game and CASE should work, with the NPCs, Vendors, etc also having the new ammo in their inventory. (This is what worked for me, but I don't take responsibility for any damages incurred to your game if I've said something wrong.)

    Spoiler:
    Show

FOR ANYBODY HAVING TROUBLE INSTALLING THE LEVELED LIST STUFF AND NOT USING MODFUSION READ THIS PLEASE:

For the purposes of this tutorial I'll be using Mod Organizer however This should work with any moding application.

First download the leveled list files. open the .zip and extract the contents to a folder somewhere that you can access it later.

create a new folder called "data" and put it somewhere you can access it easily.

now open the folder you extracted earlier and then open the folder labled "mods".

from there drag all of the files to the NEW "data" folder you created earlier.

go up one folder back to where the "mods" and "patches" folder was. then open the "Patches" folder.

select ONLY what patches you NEED. i.e. one base patch (partial overhaul, overhaul, OR vanilla. one of them only!) any of the compatability patches you need, and any of the partial patches you need (i.e. i use the dead money compatability patch, the honest hearts one, the case, craftmaster, and craft pack patches). once you have them all selected, copy them over to your new "data" folder. now zip that folder up and call it "Custom-LLO"

once done, install that with your prefered mod manager. once done, run FNVEdit. which can be found here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703/?

when fnvedit opens it will list all of your currently installed mods. right click this list and pick the option "select none"

now manually select ONLY the patches. don't select the leveld list esm or esp.

select okay and wait for it to load. you should see it list here all the patches you selected as well as any esms that are needed. don't worry about the ESM at this point

once the list loads, right click on any of the mods in the list, in the menu it brings, up go to "other" then select "create a merged patch"

give it a unique name like "LLO-MP" and then click okay

lastly close nvedit and click yes when it asks you to save...from there you should have a new plugin named after your merged patch. make sure its enabled and AT THE BOTTOM of your load order!!!! from there simply enable it and you SHOULD be good to go

WARNING: I ONLY TESTED THIS ONCE WITH MY MACHINE BUT IT WAS THE ONLYTHING THAT I GOT TO WORK SO TAKE ALL THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. IF IT DOESN'T WORK LET ME KNOW AND I'LL TRY TO HELP YOU FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG!!!

hope this helps someone else out who didn't understand the confusing-ass instructions lol. either way thanks to the mod author for not making us create the leveld lists ourselves!!!! XD even tho its a pain to install everything should work just fine....

    EDIT :

IF you need to make a merged patch for any other mods, or all your mods togeather (like i do) do it AFTER you do this, and place it ABOVE the LLO merged patch that you made otherwise there may be conflicts

Took me about a day to package but I repacked this mod as a FOMOD installer so that can be installed with Mod Organizer or NMM with ease.

I left credits at the end of the installation.

Refer to Ackley14's post for install instructions. Click Here. I've quoted them as well just incase for ease.

    Download - Dropbox.
Virus Total - I can easily promise anyone i'm not up to anything malicious but this is for the skeptics.

It's honestly up to you, i'd probably use vanilla version and myself and create a merge patch but if you like the prospects, you can check out the overhaul and see if you like what you find. Try playing around with both and check in FNVEdit to see and/or resolve any conflicts. The mod description also covers more on which does what so it's more a personal taste thing.

Also, on the LL ESM/ESP thing. You should probably use both, the Leveled List.ESP is for over-writing possible conflicts with other lists however a merge patch should initially do the same.

Also, once you have all the options you've selected for your Leveled Lists, feel free to merge them in FNVedit as to clean up the load order. That includes the LL.esp, you can merge the compatibility patches into it and/or a separate patch and then disabling them. [Recommended to make a separate patch.]

I'm sorry if i'm not able to be much more of help, this was made more or less for ease of installation.

I was planning one making on for the CRAFT pack but I forgot what I did with the files and at the moment i'm playing Fallout 3/Borderlands. It's not as bad as this though if I remember right. Don't download CRAFT Master, just download the Craft Pack, it includes the Master as well as its own content.

Also, last thing, I noticed that you are using WME and WMX together, you'd probably be better off only choosing one of the two.

I couldn't tell you specifically if it's because of this mod, try disabling it and see if that fixes it. If it does, complete the quest and then re-enable it.

I haven't even play tested the mod myself. Right after I got done making the FOMOD, I deleted New Vegas lol because I decided to plant my boots into Fallout 3 before I started DLing gigs of New Vegas mods.

It might not be because of CASE itself, if you just recently added it and it started causing it then it's probably the culprit. Otherwise I can't say much else. Sorry once again man.

As someone who worked on this mod, and played so many hours with this mod, it's nice that people are still using it so many years later. Kudos to FreedomFighter4 for adapting it so more people can enjoy it. Thanks for putting in the work.
Edit: Also shameless bump for this thread, so anybody wandering by can find it.

Quite a letdown when it's the only mod I could find to add ammo types of similar functionality (i.e. JSP, JHP, etc.) for each ammo.
A lot of hoops to jump through for installation (Grab this mod! Oh, you'll need these ones too now! And hey, now you'll want this installer!)
Not worth the hassle, especially when bugs like 10mm ammo variants not working for 10mm weapons exist. Kinda defeats the point of adding the ammo types when they can't even be used.
Shame, really. The potential's certainly there, but it's just not worth it.

Your mods look interesting but I'm not going to totally change up my mod installer because you decided to force yours on to the community and exclusively release mods for "mod fusion installer". On top of that saying "Do not ask for manual install instructions. No assistance will be given to those who attempt manual installs." Just feels like a total "F" you to anyone opposed to using your mod installer. Again I would have loved to try out your mods but the obvious push for your "better" mod installer just puts me off. I hope to see your mods released in an easier to use package or at the very least some kind of instructions to manual install or repackage the mod ourselves for the much more common NMM or Mod Organizer.

Although I agree their methods were pretty poor, I don't expect you'll see these mods readapted for normal mod loaders because the author to this hasn't even logged into the Nexus since 2014.

I installed it like you said but I can't add these ammo types to any weapon! Rounds such as 10mm inc, he, explosive etc won't be equipped with a 10mm pistol! Same applies with Shrapnel weapons pack, I can't equip any of these ammo types with any of those weapons.

ok let me say something, I can't get this mod installed with modfusion and " Do not ask for manual install instructions. No assistance will be given to those who attempt manual installs." sounds a lot like a middle finger to whoever has problems. Guess what sometimes nmm or fmm or this stupid modfusion thing don't fucking work and you just have to install it manually, but you couldn't be bothered just to list the things you need to copy cuz f*#@ everyone who has any problem with it right?

Aye manual install or setting it up to work with NMM isn't that hard really, annoying, but not hard. I just move all the texture/mesh folders into a new folder as well as the esp/esm's (merging the mesh and textures folders) and just zip/7zip/whatever it and add it manually in NMM. Not really hard. I still use NMM to install it like that for easy removal later.
