Doesn't work in first person on my install. When I zoom in to use the iron sights, like you do with any other pistol/rifle, and it stays in place, while my crosshairs change like I'm aiming. Only upon firing does the weapon go to into iron sights, and only while in the act of firing. This bug effects both pistols and rifles in my game. This seems to also have happened to my FO4 style laser pistol (from a separate mod), so I'm not sure if that mod is causing issues or is just a symptom. I know this is an older mod, but I'm a huge Energy Weapons fan; please, can anyone help me?
On the Laser carbine is it normal to have it zoom into the pointer instead of ion sights when aiming and then when shooting actually "go into" iron sights? It doesnt really go into iron sights but it does completely block what your aiming at for a second. It shows you the back of the rifle/sights. I'm Using Eve as well.
Ok I looked into it, and found out that all the weapons of this mod have not the normal chaeck marck on the "Use 1st person Iron Sight view" as other weapons have. So when you use GECK to uncheck it then you will have FP IS view, but I think the authour had checked it because with the model you can't view anything in FP IS view because it's to big. I don't know how to change the angle view to have it normaly placed. I am still searching for it.
It seems most people are having no trouble with this mod. However, whenever I have it activated, I get a bunch of "!" Texture errors for weapons. However, I checked in the geck, and they seem to have their own textures and meshes. Can someone help me out? I'm not using anything that would be incompatible.
They're great to look at, but they'll still get you killed. So far I've tried the laser Carbine, and the nice and shiny Laser Defender. Didn't know there was a flamer pistol in the first two games?
So does this mod and Classic Fallout Weapons have any difference in the Energy Weapons added from both mods? Or do they both add the same Energy Weapons? I'd like to avoid redundancy, if possible. Excellent mod, by the way.
