Fantastic mod and a staple in my load order since forever. I don't use the core or any first person animations, just use the third person meshes so my character and the NPCs don't look goofy holding their handguns, the rifle and assault rifle stances are indeed a plus.
I'm trying to remove this mod, but I am struggling. I've uninstalled the files on Nexus, but the animations are still in my game. I've looked through the mesh files for NV and I can't see the files for the mod. Advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hey dude, I have the same problem. I just go to Data-->meshes --> characters --> 1st person and male for mine. I then manually delete all of the files introduced by the mod. It gets VERY tiring since they keep coming back everytime I introduce or remove a mod
I wish ppl would use Mod Organizer 2, bugs like this are none existent with mo2 since it pulls the only files it installs directly from the downloaded zip files, if NMM or Vortex is doing this then it has made a cache/backup of animations maybe to prevent issues when installing a new weapon mod but imo, thats over reaching for a mod manager.
There is also the beautiful addition that you can reorder install files after installation and see at a glance which mod has files overwriting other mods because every mod install has a seperate folder and the ui is a snapshot of those folders, they never get touched. Its the most transparent and easily understandable mod manager i've used - and i've used a lot. Either way, I hope you fix your problems.
I saw some folks saying their game crashed and wondering if they installed it correctly. When I first used this some years back Gopher made Weapon Animation Replacers FOMOD to install this with ease... showing pictures for which options you may want.
There is a youtube video you can watch to go along with this and help you install it. I haven't tried it yet with this new load order and game version (doing a new TTW run as I return from my hiatus from FNV playing and modding) but I will report back if I have any crashes due to this.
hi i want to install this mod but idk if is a good idea a see alot of comments that say this mod has alot of bugs and error and crashes. im using mod organizer 2 can someone tell me what file i need to install and how?
The Commando - Rifle Animation Pack is causing my Fallout New Vegas to crash. The Professional - Pistol Animation Pack is not crashing my Fallout New Vegas.
If anyone wants to download this mod, be carefully and test it, if it's doing the same to your Game. It's a potential crash mod. (Using latest NVSE)
Hi, I was a dumbass a few years back and downloaded this mod. I removed it but for some reason Vortex keeps reintroducing the meshes from every single time I add or remove another mod to the game. I've been manually removing them every single time but I just want this to be gone for good. Any help would be very much appreciated!
Try removing it directly from file explorer. Can find in vortex just find a drop menu to go to the actual file. If theres an "uninstall" in the description try that. Description on this page for this mod. Otherwise verify game files or fully uninstall game but go to the game folder after its all gone and find the mod files that stay after. remove each that you dont want. CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS FOR FALLOUT AND VORTEX i think itll sometimes make a copy or backup and still reinstall in that way. its annoying. Im not the smartest but i saw this saw it was recent and ive had to do each one of these methods for a few different games.
Just posting this as a reminder for people revisiting this or downloading this for this first time. Don't use the mod manager download option for this mod, it isn't set up properly and likely won't work for you. Instead download the mod manually and follow the install directions in the read me.
