WASTELAND DEFENSE

DESCRIPTION
The Wasteland is a harsh land, and even a courier needs a place to call his/her own. Construct your own wasteland fort, bolster its defenses, and claim the title of the safest place in the Mojave Wasteland. Then prove your worth by defending your fort from enemy raiders.

INSTALLATION
This mod requires NVSE, which can be found: http://nvse.silverlock.org/

Extract the zip file into your data folder (the path should be similar to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data)
It is suggested you use the Fallout Mod Manager to manage your mods. Enable the mod and load up your game. Within a few seconds a quest update should pop up and give you directions.

FEATURES
-Fort Construction System: Acquire plans and use them to place objects within your fort. Objects can be placed in any manner you desire.
-Guard System: Recruit guards to patrol your fort, defending it from enemy invaders. Specialized guards such as Snipers are available at a higher cost. Robots more your thing? Construct Securitrons from supplies you scavenge from raids.
-Plan Market System: Allow a fort merchant to set up shop and offer various plans for necessities/defenses. The market's stock changes day by day, and special plans may become available.
-Raid System: A remote activated system that can trigger a raid across three difficulties. Supplies are scavenged after fending off a raid, which can be used for future upgrades and defenses.
-Automated Turret Defenses: Plans are available for automated turret defenses to assist your guards in defeating enemy raiders.
-Light System: Be wary of shadows in your fort. Construct lights to keep your fort protected even on the darkest nights.
-Power System: A destroyable generator that powers the lighting around your fort.
-Stationary Guards: The ability to place guards at locations and have them hold their ground.
-Random Raid System: Raider attacks will be randomized, coming when you least expect it (toggle-able in user options)
-Scavenger System: Recruit scavengers to pick across the remnants of your enemies and salvage their equipment.

MAIN CONSTRUCTION PLANS
Water Tank - The center of your fort
Supplies Storage - Storage for the food and scrap metal you scavenge off of raiders
Fort HQ - Acts as the player's own housing and hosts the Fort Terminal
Barracks - Recruit guards to protect your fort
Market - Purchase unessential items to enhance life in your fort
Solar Generator - Powers the lighting within your fort
Armory - Allows you to customize your guards weapons and equipment
Guard Towers - Gives your guards a protected tower to keep an eye on your fort
Street Lights - Brighten up the night in your fort
Wooden Pallet/Metal Pallet - Perfect for building multiple level structures, provides a solid base to build on
Wooden Stairs - Provides access to higher levels
Junk Walls - Enclose your fort in a protective junk wall
Junk Gates - Provides a defendable entrance/exit to your fort
Boundary Markers - Mark the edges of your fort's control. Patrol guards will move between these to protect your perimeter
Barricades - Various junk stacked up to provide defendable cover
Raid Alarm - Alerts the fort in the event of a raid
And more!

OTHER NOTES
This mod is very much a WIP still, so you may come across bugs or features that aren't fully implemented. However I ask that if you do find something of note, please leave a comment so I can look into your issue and hopefully solve it fast.

I have worked closely with arcoolka from the Real Time Settler mod to release Wasteland Defense

This mod has been developed with arcoolka's mod (Brahmin Bess) in mind. I will adapt this mod so that it will be fully compatible with his mod, which hopefully will lead to a complete object creation experience. My mod is more focused toward the raiding of forts and the defending of it, while Brahmin Bess is focused on Settlement building and companions.
