I know its very late and possibly due to mod author absence it may not be rectified but there are lots of sinks and fountains that can't be refilled with this canteen. the first such place is helios one where you cant access the clean water from its fountain to fill the canteen. anyone has any ideas to rectify this. But overall a great mod.
i like the idea of this alot, but i noticed something that goes against your description. I picked up the canteen, drank 5 times to make it empty and then went to the goodsprings source to refill it. I crouched and successfully refilled it, but it filled it with "dirty" water and i then gained radiation from drinking this water. goodsprings source is clean water so this should not have happened.
Please note, that i am not running your mod exclusively so there might be some compatibility issues. I'm using project nevada, eve, the personal hideout, companion followers, and WME. When i installed your mod it asked me to overwrite a file associated with the personal hideout, but the file was the readme text so i ignored it.
Anyway, good luck with everything. no gripes or anything just letting you know fyi.
is it possible to refill the canteen from inventory. equip canteen and then click on waterbottle in your inventory or click on waterbottle on counter/ground
The new file should be fixed. I'm using it without any problems. The script for drinking/filling the canteen is not on the canteen itself, it's in the sinks, so getting the canteen again would probably make no difference. You can try to make a clean save however. Disable the first version, load the game and save. Then install the new version and try it out.
I originally got the bugged version where you can't drink from sinks while standing. I replaced it with the newer version, but I still can't drink while standing. Do I have to get the canteen from Doc Mitchell's house again?
